So with the weekend approaching is anyone doing anything exciting over the weekend?? Any local events going on either car related or non car related?

I've only been a member for just over a year so I don't know whats gone on in the past between the two clubs. Some forums are not maybe as busy as others but maybe that's a sign of the times regards peoples finances and rising running costs every year. Also if you have a friend who already has a Subaru then your going to join the same club as them regardless. If you want to meet up and talk about the cars and mods etc then great, If you just want to go for a drive then great. Everyone has there own thing but one thing we have in common is our cars. Please can we all just try and move on with the here and now instead of what was. We all drive a Subaru and share the same interest, our cars.

I always liked the distinct burble that comes from the Subaru. Watched the rallying and used to see them on the country back roads overtaking everything with ease and decided one day it would be nice to own one. Finally when insurance was actually possible for less than the price of a house I purchased my first one. Had it for just over a year and so far loved every minute of it. Cant see me replacing it in the near future, great car.

So hows everyone been getting on with what they had planned for their cars this year? I'm ashamed to say the only thing ticked of my list has been the HKS Dump valve due to poor funds. Hopefully a re map will be done before the end of the year.

the engine would not start for at least 2-5 mins but once started all was ok again. Could it be anything to do with the fuel supply being cut somehow or maybe a immobiliser fault?

Thankfully the dome helped to keep us all dry for the day. Another good event, even got asked a few questions by passers by about the cars and the club.
