  1. Shock result for me...290brake and 236torque. Not the best torque figure, but up the boost, get rid of some rich fuelling and i should easily see 300.

All i can say(as your discription confuses me a tad), is you should have lined the pulleys up with the marks on the new belt(also, marked the line markers on the old belt too, to compare to the new one). By turning the engine no matter how many turns of the crank, they should always become lined up. Did you count the amount of teeth on the new belt and compared to the old one? I'm wondering what exactly was the problem with the car....possibly showing there's a problem with the pulleys?

  11. Cheers JC. Just as Spooks says, don't go mad with it. If yours is a UK turbo, then i suggest setting the controller to about 1.14 BAR MAX. That's just below fuel cut and in a safe enough area.

  13. Maybe see if something is partially blocking the restrictor in the pipe from the turbo outlet nipple.
  14. Get an AFR and a boost gauge fitted and that'll help determine the problem.

  17. I second John's word's, but your fuel cut kick's in at just over 1.15BAR, so anything below that, your ok........unless you fit a Fuel Cut Defender.
  18. If it continues to run after disconnecting it, hot or cold, i would say it's guffed. Let us know after Saturday though.
