My advice would be to go somewhere else. Certainly the E-type experience was not that good. (my father did that). also rally fans are not doing anything involving rallying at Knockhill after the way they have treated rally fans and organisers lately.

4th of feb is the first Crail rally of the year.

Higgy is correct. they have cancelled the rally at Crail scheduled for the 27th because of that.

went fishing today. saw a few seasons as well. Bright and cold in Fife when I left the house and 5 miles later there was an inch of snow in Falkland. Drove up to Perth and there was no snow at all. Spent the day fishing at Kinkell Bridge and boy did it rain but no snow. On the way home I came over the Glentarkie road and there was 2 inches of snow up there with two stranded Mercedes vans. managed to pull them out and continues down the hill. By Strathmiglo the snow had all gone. Got my first grayling too. Fish

Off to Kinkell Bridge to catch some grayling tomorrow. Will be taking the Trooper though.

I have been reading on the cruise sites about the amount of police activity with drivers. It seems all aftermarket exhausts are fair game and some officers are even taking noise readings. The Angus police seem to have been busy and I have heard some reports of Highland Constabulary being busy too. This seems to be a grey area. No absolute noise limit has been defined as far as I can find out and yet the police seem happy to fine people for exceeding an undefined limit. So where does this leave us car owners? If we are told to fit a "standard" system, what does that mean? Has anyone actually bought a replacement exhaust off subaru? Is my Prodrive (PPP) system "not standard"? If anyone has some answers I would appreciate enlightenment.
