  1. Aye! He lost the hair above his lip. I thought it got burned off from too much autoglym sniffing.
  2. Roy Could you pm me Roy M's phone number as I need to give him some money.
  3. Yah big pansy! [] That was a rough one. If the weather has been wet it is quite easy on the cars as your spend all your time struggling for grip. In the hot weather the holes get hard edges and start doing damage to the car and your neck.
  4. Have you forgotten anything? How about a tow car, trailer, 16" race tyres and a BMW? []
  5. John. My pm's aren't working so do you think that the idea we discussed is a goer? If so let me know ASAP and we can ge the appropriate posts up. Cheers
  6. Johnny... I was in Aberdeen all day so you wouldn't have seen me but if you are going to be up this way again give's a shout.
  7. Any of the Tayside or Fife folks up for this?
  8. The mudflaps are OK though [] i also got a new windscreen courtsy of Roy Mclennan which was fitted during the lunch break.
  9. Anyway Mr smartypants, the last Thursday is the 31st. []
  10. He gets about doesn't he. I saw him on Saturday in Leven. []
  11. I'll box your ears you young whippersnapper! Discussions are ongoing about a meet at a new venue. Have to confirm details with another RO but hoping to combine meets for a wee change. Details soon.
  12. Craig...Pity you didn't hang around long enough to hear the Pug ripping it up. It gets a right howl about 6000rpm. Still from what I heard you were trying to save your ears from abuse []
  13. Aye the garage was why I bought the house. The car has been built to take the abuse but the gear linkage has got very loose so I had to pull off the sump guard to get at it and I had to take the front bumper off too. Inner wings are cracked so the welder has to be pressed into use as well. Will be back together by Sat
  14. The price of fun
  15. Acid. Didn't you mean to say "What a handsome bloke that Zeolite is" Think Craig Mac is getting off lightly here. Mind you, he is a big lad. As for the bumper; Did you notice how the 2 205s both lost their bumpers at the same spot and 20 seconds apart? I was watching Foz when HE broke our car.
  16. Yeah. The track got slower as it got cut up. Some serious holes to fall in and huge piles of dirt to get bogged down. The first run was the one that counted and the MX-6 was 8 secs faster than me and 5 secs faster than Foz. The stopwatch never lies.
  17. I was 5th O/A and Foz was 3rd O/A The MX-6 won
  18. No volunteers?
  19. If you want some help or parts for a crosser just let me know guys. I have bits and I have the knowledge. []
  20. Following the success of the Stonehaven Autocross and the sterling job performed by the Aberdeen boys I wondered if any of the Tayside or Fife members would want to help out next week. The organiser has sent this out. "The Autocross is now at Ballindean near Inchture, take the slip road for Inchture straight on then first left which is signposted for Teen Ranch and Ballindean about a mile down that road you will see the field on the left the entrance is right opposite the entrance to Hilltown of Ballindean, I will have it well marked with the usual orange arrows." All are welcome and if anyone wants to know what fun it is pm some of the Aberdeen boys.
  21. As you can see it was rough as a badgers arse and the yumps were brutal. Some very varied machinery and a grand day. One next week near Dundee too.
  22. Yeah thanks a lot guys. Without marshals we competitors wouldn't get the opportunity to beat the hell out of our cars [] Broken bumper, dodgy gear linkage, cracked inner wing and mine was still going at the end. No rolls for you unusually but plenty of action. So who is up for next Sunday at Inchture?
  23. Just about to hit the road. See you all soon.
  24. you got a pm m8
