  7. If there was any doubt that you are a winner here is the proof!
  8. Hey! I was there too. Yvonne drove down as I needed a nap after a mega burger in Roos Leap. Got waken up by yvonne yelling at a loony in a Saab making outrageous manoevres.
  9. How opportune. [] I will be in on Thursday morning to get my WRX serviced. Howsabout a wee shottie Russ?
  10. Andy. I take it you do know what that pedal on the left is for! [] Seems that getting decent 2nd hand ones is not easy. Maybe you should try rebuilding one yourself? I am sure you get a few customers after you fixed your own.
  11. Its not always easy being a RO. Everyone should have a go at it and then I am sure folk would look at things from a different point of view. Good job Billy and I will see you soon.
  12. Coming from East Fife but will be going through Dunfermline on the way to Stirling. Could meet up on our way through. What time will you be leaving Dunfermline?
  13. Out in the Southern North Sea with a grumpy Frenchman and a Chinese trainee with penchant for getting lost at boat drills. About to pick up tools and drill an oil well faster than Scoob thats been mapped by Andy F while trying to learn new software. I am really looking forward to Sunday! Anyone who wants to meet in Fife for the Stirling run let me know.
  14. Too true. You were only 2nd at the time. []
  15. Sorry folks. I am off to work at 06:20 tomorrow morning.
  16. From today. Corsa telling John marshall where to go. Can you see the fear?
  17. Ingliston Rally collection total so far £176.18 [] Fantastic generosity from the rally folks and well done Billy, Iain and myself for collecting it and thanks to Davie for helping set it up. SIDC owe the good folks of the Scottish Tarmac Rally Series and Dunfermline Car Club a big vote of thanks.
  18. Just back after a great day of rallying. Good company with Billy and Arbroath Smokie (nice car!) ots of action with spinning Escorts and drifting Scoobs. Condolences to Corsa whose drive blew a turbo on the last stage while 3rd I o/all think. pesky subarus. Anyway we had a collection at lunch break and have collected over £160. We didn't get round everyone and a few more folks would have meant we would have raised more. Anyway big thanks to Ian and Billy and I will update as soon as i have counted all the coppers.
  19. Event is tomorrow folks. I still have some collection boxes with no shaker attached. Don't be shy!
  20. Of course he has. I first met you when you were pushing it. [] I am looking for some more volunteers to help me with a RB collection between marshalling. Come on folks!
  21. Have to make my apologies about this folks. It has just been confirmed that I will be going offshore on the 24th and will miss the event completely. I kinda expected this and haven't made any plans. I am very disappointed because it is shaping up to be a great event thanks to the great work of Wilky, Scoobay and lots of others. So any Fifers who want to go please get in touch with Paul C555 and get stickered up. I still have RB forms and collection boxes.
  22. I see Robin is out in his 6R4 so looking forward to hearing that. What did he do with his old RWD 205?
  23. Rally probably starts about 09:00 but as the gates will be locked you have to be there at 07:30 to sign on and marshal as it is a no-spectator event.
  24. There is more to be considered than just power and tuning potential IMHO. I got a WRX because I didn't want the 6 speed box. my WRX with PPP is 265 and frankly that is more power than I will use on 99% of occasions. The 6 speed was just too race car like for a road car IMHO and as I have race cars I was looking for road manners. It is a matter of taste and who actually drives your car. Drive them and make up your own mind. Oh yeah the RE-50s on the WRX aren't great in the wet but the RE-70s on the STi are supposed to be even worse.
