Cliff,
Thanks for that, I did manage to handle the lower speed drift's quite well, but lost it on the higher speed one at camp due to inexperience
I didn't remove the correcting opposite lock fast enough if i'd had the wheels straight ahead (at the piont it snapped left) i would have saved it
All thanks for your support and hopefully car back on road soon
Tony

Bob,
I have heard lots of peeps on trackdays, give advice for vented Disc's. They reckon that either go for Drilled or Grooved but never both as they can be prone to cracking on regular Trackdays.
Solid Disc's it would be OK though.
IMHO AFAICR etc.
Tony
Muddy,
That's the trouble with organising things sometimes Sh1te happens just take a chill pill and relax hopefully between the Organisers and yourself it will all turn out OK, just a slight hiccup
Nobody on here will blame as you always do your best for the Community

<< Eibach do produce the prodrive kit but to a different spring rate etc. Custom wound to prodrive specs.
I personally didnt like the Eibachs as I had a problem with the handling on the with my KYB dampers. Now got my own custom wound springs on it. >>
Custom,
I believe the point with Eibach's, that they were Vastly experienced in The 'Classic' Spring kit's but little realised the weght distribution differences of the newage 'WRX and 'STi'. I had spoken to them at the Motorsport show at Jan 2003 .
Prodrive had issue's, IIRC, only with the STi02 kit's as supplied tweaked WRX kit's, wrongly assuming there was no difference between both IMHO AFAIR etc. Prodrive hieght's spring rate Etc. are cock on for the STi's.
I had my Eibach's removed only once the Prodrive ones were available. The Eibach's were fitted from New and then replaced
I am not dissing WRX Ebach's, on STi's because on flat tarmac they work, but far to close to bottoming out on bumpy roads. IMHO
Tony
I have had both kits on my STi02 and I much prefered the Prodrive kit The Eibach WRX kit did lower the front end more, but found front strut would bottom out on bumpy fast roads.
IIRC Eibach's made both the MY02Sti and the MY02WRX spring kit's to Prodrive Spec's (different Spec's due to far different weights of the front end of both cars
IIRC Prodrive were to change supplier for the later MYO3 STi and WRX models The Prodrive kits for STi and WRX's are different spring rates and also include bump stops for the STi .
not sure if Eibach's did a WRX and a STi Spring kit when I bought mine.
