  1. Perhaps the "P2" is no more than a smoke screen for the developing a working Subaru Tribeca concept car think outside of the Box Tony
  2. Did I spy Mark Chairman of the RB5 OC carrying a large Cheque in the background of a Central News report on the Memorial service? They were interviewing clarkson and others outside Also Sir David Richards gave a lovely testamonial to Richard Tony

  9. << I know Mark Chairman of the RB5 Owners Club very well indeed he is currently working on a project for the SIDC I feel that we should support the sticker campaign >> Exellent news I have just bought mine from RB5 WEBSITE HERE You do need a PayPal account though perhaps the SIDC can help out with peeps that haven't got PayPal Tony
  10. Hi, On Richard web site it said it would like colections to go to cancer research. There has been many good ideas and peeps saying we should do something but perhaps. On the RB5 owners club site they mention doing a memorial sticker and proceeds to to Cancer. RB memorial Donation and sticker Really two questions come to mind 1) Are we "SIDC" going to do anthing as a club/community? 2) Can we help them out by supporting or maybe offering to sell them in the online SIDC shop? Tony Ps I know nothings simple
  11. A true gentleman and sportsman, a tragic loss Our thought go ot to Burnseys Family and friends Tony & family
  12. << Seems to have been a few crashes at that corner. Dave from Passin Ford binned his Esc Cos at the same corner. Good to see that all parties involved were unhurt though. Thanks for posting. >> That's the good thing about trackdays doing the wrong thing in the right place I drove my car home but if that had been a Tree lined road, possible fatalities IMHO Tony
  13. Glad everyone enjoyed my Video The Hit count for the download is 1068 so seems to be worth posting. Unlike the old Video this one you see my first 3 laps of the same corner. It shows I'm not a total cr4p driver plenty of entusiasm but lacking some skill Tony
  14. I like 2 corners at most of circuits I've done. The best circuit for " The experience" has to be Silverstone but my favourite track overall circuit has to be Bedford. I haven't done Oulton park or Brands for quite some time, hopefully next year My votes for the corners are Bedford autodrome-: Corners 2&3 leading into straight to the Bus stop excellent when wet also the kinka t the end of the longest straight Silverstone -: Priory and Copse Castle Coombe-: Camp even now and the Old Paddock Oulton-: Druids and lodge Brands-: Westfield bend and Clark curve Tony
  15. Hi, about £8k + Vat and was covered by my road insurance The passenger was my mates wife and her Airbags didn't go off LOL she has been in the car with me since i do give a good ride, so they say. M493 On downloads don't double click, you must right click on it and press "save target as" Have you broadband??? a big file like this will take forever to download on dail-up and probably feck it up If on broadband.I'd try downloading it again, Tony
  16. Hi Now this is really SIATW (Scooby In A Tyre Wall) and sorry to post it again. WARNING 8meg download size Last year at Japfest2004 I stuffed my car into the Tyre wall.I have had numerous emails asking me to see post it up again At the time lots of Videos and Pics came out I have joined ALL laps together. JAPFEST2004 T5NYW in tyre wall My mate will host it for a month or so Tony Ps As fully discussed last year and I agree with, Total driver(Me) error and not bad luck.
  17. << "I suppose I should be glad that the kangaroo was hunched down when we hit, if it had been up in the air then at 190kph I think it would have been through the screen." Petter >> As he says lucky very sadly, my nextdoors cousin went to USA for a Family wedding and a Deer jumped out of a Woods into the Windscreen of their Hire car with fatal results Still a nice result for Atkinson and another hard luck to Petter and Colin Mc Tony
  18. I had a 2002STiUK with PPP from new. PPP was only available from about June 2002 and most were fitted with a Daughterboard "Piggyback" chip in the ECU fitted by Prodrive. Later models of the November 2002 were reprogrammed by Prodrive using Ecutek software. Not sure of the date but most were recalled for a Fuel pump to be fitted as some fuel pumps were the cause off engine leaning and gonig Bang. I hads mine tested at Prodrive after simular Rolling Road results 275--285 BHP but they tested it on the Road with laptop and was OK but never ever made it on the Rollers but always did it on the roads The "real" world counts and not Pub talk figures IMHO. BTW you want to try one without PPP you wouldn't want it to be Standard Tony
  19. TBH, I haven't been to the Motorshow for 2 years now doesn't seem to appeal to the Enthusiast. I much prefer the Birmingham Motorsport Show just after Christmas Sadly missed it last year IMHO Subaru get 10 times the return compared with the Motorshow and probably a 10th of the Cost aswell Subaru were noticably missing from the Rally Cars of the Past in the "Thunder Dome" the previous year Tony
  20. << You could have paid a consultant 20k to say the same thing and you get it for free on the SIDC. >> Or give me a heavily modded B5 with PPP, I'll do Trackdays and Meets etc, They'll have 36 months of Publicity pointed at the correct market Tony
