  1. Dammed lucky if you ask me, the crash barrier did and was allowed to do a great job. If is accident started 300m later that bridge wouldn't have moved. Tony

  3. Now don't blame me [] [] LOL "Is the Pope.............." I'll will be at Japfest and hopefully Rallyday [H] not sure about other trackdays yet !!!!
  4. A option is Fit AST's & ALK but retain the original ARB's. may not be of any benifit or improvement in comfort in to the OEM Spec C ones. IMHO Tony
  5. Hope this link will work [] http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/678309/ShowPost.aspx Tony
  6. Certainly was [H] Was it Van Man that bought the WRC ride around Prodrive for £280 donation to the fund ?? Tony
  7. As you say brighten up a rainy old day [] Heres my Pic Email me at t5nyw@aol.com if you wish the full size Tony
  8. This picture really summed the day up for me, Alex Burns had a smile on all day what a nice Chap [H] Tony
  9. I know what you mean [] I was at Prodrive early and manage to have a real nice long chat to him [H] Tony
  10. Prodrive gets a real big thumbs up me [H] for the hopitality shown all of us doing the realy Today. They opened up their workshops and museum. They even put on some hot drinks and Food but saddly the amount that turned up overwhelm the catering. Callum was offered a passsenger ride RB's WRC safari car but auctioned for a RB donation, £280 IIRC. Prodrive still gave Callum his go which was a very nice touch [] Richards Dad was there and drove Richards aold Group N Legacy. He had a chat to nearly everyone [] and was amazed at the amount of Subarus that turned up. Tony
  11. The millions us Scooby drivers have pass through their tills [:@] BLACK LIST THEM [] No problem, see me before my track time [] might be saving for a wing, 2 doors after [] LOL Tony
  12. Andy has a lot of respect among the Scooby comunity [H] 3" Miltek was about £1K with a sports Cat or £750 no Cat IIRC But will absolutely transform your Car [] IMHO Tony
  13. Richard, That's me banned from Iain Litchfields [:$] apparantly my wife will only let me go there without a wallet [] hope your feeling better Tony
  14. Stormy, I had it set on 8 & 7 and car never moved, could have thrown it off a cliff and still not bounced [] but noticed loads of bumps and bangs for poor roads. the rear more liable for noise/bangs (lighter) so I found running 2 notch's less on rear to front. "A" roads are absolutely diabolical around Hereford more like "B or C's" but excellent fun. With the STD exhaust (My05 and MY06 are the same IIRC) should make 322Bhp, change the back box and the rear resonator (looks like a snake that's swallowed a hot waterbottle) and 340bhp on UK fuel. You ought to speak to Andy forrest for remaps (scotland based but does travel). and no need for Octane booster. Tony
  15. budgie, Can I borrow you wife for my next Birthday [] LOL only joking [] You certainly won't be disappionted withthe Pressie Tony
  16. Spec C and JDM are still 2ltr [] Great write up Tony btw, and glad your enjoying it at last [] Thanks pete , I am now
  17. Oringinally I was after a MY03-4 Spec C but ended up getting a second hand MY06 STi 2.0L JDM with 1700m on the clock. The only mods was it had already been remapped for UK fuel and running 322bhp. I had it for approx 1 month now and I thought i would pass on my views so far. Day 1 Handling. I had the T25 suspension fitted and handling was an absolute dream. I ran with 1 "Click" front and rear and the car still resists body roll yet was still comfortable on my local "A" roads (Which are very bumpy & pot holes more like "B's") I am now running 3 rear and 5 Front and finding it a good comprimise. When travelling alone i have 7 front and 6 rear and reckon 8 & 8 on the track [] Performance. Well when you look at the speedo and compared to a mate in a MY02PPP, you realise how quickly your going . But the exceptionally quiet engine and progressive spool up of the twin Scroll, although 322Bhp, really gives the driver very little or no involvement that experience coming from a Type R to this I can see why possibly the previous owner may have sold it. Noise. Absolutely none and no scooby burble. I could have been doing 60 in 2nd or 60 in 6th and exactly the same noise. Overall The car was very quick, handled really well but was very bland to drive and unexceiting. 1300 miles later I was starting to regret my purchase found i didn't mind walking places [:|] 3 weeks on Something had to be done [] So visited Ian Litchfield & Powerstation and had a miltek sports Cat system and a remap. For all intense and purpose it simular to the STi T20's Ian litchfield sells. Handling. It is still precise but the extra Power and noise has enable me to utilise the full potential of the cars set up. Performance. The exhaust and a little tweak has taken it up from 322bhp to 349.9bhp with 460Nm Torque. 45mph in 5th is awesome their is no need to change down :D:D You can hear the engine load and change gear accordingly. I have had to adjust my driving style, I tend to over Rev but theres no need with this amount of Torque. I'm certain they gave me the wrong Car back. I had more smiles the 60 miles on the way home than all of the previous 1200. Noise. Well still no Scooby Burble but i just don't care it now sounds like an Evo/bike and the noise level is just about right IMHO and when you give it some, awesome [][][] Overall now. It's tremendous hoot to drive now and I will use any excuse I can to get in it and drive  I wouldn't swap it a blue Ferrari but maybe a red one [] So if you buy a MY06 get PPP, Powerstation or 333 etc, etc. That stupid exhaust really smoothers the Characture of the Car it has turned it into a Bland but quick Mondeo IMHO. Tony
  18. At least [] I did the lesser version and that was awesome, I was £350 IIRC but bought of a guy who couldn't make it, Prodrives hospitality is second to none [H] I would do it again but a bit broke at the Mo [] Tops was Wet handling then the adverse handling [H] You guys will have the times of lives, lucky sods Tony
  19. South West Midlands (Worcester/Hereford/Kiddy/Leominster) an unconfirmed 10 ish Tony
