Recently brought M**WRC for £250 all in !

As some of you may know our car took a turn for the worse last year at Bruntingthorpe Charity Day. The previous year a 2.5 conversion was done, but a 2p hose from the FPR split which caused major meltdown across all cylinders, which basically destroyed everything Well the last 9 months have been strained, tha car has been in storage at CPAutos in Bristol, but at last the rebuild can know begin, I've source a 2.2 cdb which will used to build a 2.35 stroker along with spec c heads or at worse jdm heads with cosworth cams, RCM valves, springs, with a RCM rotated conversion with a garett gt35 turbo......... plus a few other tricks along the way . So hopefully this time it will be built properly and be ready for WRC Germany or I may have to hitch a lift

Will hopefully find the funds to get her back an run in for Germany next year Glad you got your "r" back she is looking good What else have you had done ? I see the adjustable coilovers which one did you go for ? looks like exe-tc's adjustable tops !

Hi our car came fom Malta had for just over 5 years now, basically no difference than uk aprt fro no alarm, locking wheel nuts, and underseal. aplan insured us originally now with keith micheals, you'll find it hard to beat either on price.

Exe-tc is the way forward ast's are not as good !

Totally gutted for you ! Was it brake fluid aswell? Reason being re-spray over brake fluid could possibly lead to the paint peeling again. Best all round if you get a new motor, some insurance co. will offer a new car if it's 6 months or younger..

I had a 2.3 ghia cortina If you were my son I too would tell you to wait until you could afford to do it on your own back ! That way you may appriciate it more, rather than be given a silver spoon to be fed with !

Thats the speed sensor wire for when Chris goes over 30mph, it sends a 10,000 volt shock upto his nuptuals
