some of the older members of this region and various clubs will know Bob so passing on this sad news copied from bbs forum I am really upset to have to tell you that Bob died in the early hours of this morning. Bob as many of you know was one of the original scooby owners and his last scoob was a Wr1. He often spent as much time at Tileys as one of the staff and was a true gent. He had suffered with cancer and kidney failure for a few years. He was only 61. I am sure that all of your thoughts will be with his partner Tricia who will always be known as Bob's Dragon.

really JD ,its just sws under sidc umbrella now, which is something they didnt want to be associated with a few years ago when they broke away.and whats happened since , sws have become a small club ,when ed and jaqs were running it they rivalled the esc for members/cars ed and jaqs built this section up twice when most would have quit.and i cant see anyone with the same commitment,backing,even coming close to what they done .

well i guess that kills off s/west region altogether .sorry to hear you going ed ,its been good times even if i didnt come to as many meets ,was always a good laugh.im sure your witty humour will be missed by all. you know where to find me if im at a show you to bailey sure i'll bump into you at some show with your lense out :icon_salut:

going by his last post , id say never, see below if you missed it Well What can I say - I am jacking this in...........Walked into a highly political environment - undermined from below and no support from above........very little training and no support or guidance. This fact was recognised by one set of upper management however nothing done by direct management. Worked my backside off for the last 5 months and tried to prove that I can do the job I am now written off sick with DEPRESSION so bang goes my Probation period plus £42k a year! - and I didnt even get that when I was seriously ill 4 years ago!. So far in January 2011 - Jacqui and I split for a time , my lottery numbers came up however as I forgot my ticket I did lucky dips instead thus losing out on £4 Million plus all the hassle I had at work it has been a crap start to the year - oh yeah bloomin car now playing up!!!!!!!!. So for Feb its looking for another job - this time a pitance paying one with no responsibility so probably putting the car on Fleabay and let someone have it for 99p!!!!! - oh yeah its 4:40am and now suffering from insomnia. Anyone around from the good old days how ya doing? well thats my gossip! cheers Ed

as i remember correctly ,the body kit was designed for maximum efficiency by the racing division of subaru .so it may not look that pretty but is better than the various bolt ons available as after market kits/ spoilers you see everyday on scoobs .

never used to be mate ,was prob the busiest part of this club , but things happened and s/west organiser jaqs give it up due to well ............if you go to swindon meet you'll hear about it .

was my post deleted .some one asked about drive outs/meets in the somerset area .and seeing as s/west section on here is dead .i pointed him to a local subaru forum were he would get a response . ok i put a link in but are sidc threatened by another forum that you cant mention another forum , i dont see scooby net posts getting deleted . or is this just a s/west thing . and you wonder why people are leaving this club .
