as those of you who attended the falkirk meet noticed, there was the residue of the W.A.C.K badge that some geezer who had the car before had stuck to the boot lid, after a load of help from the members and especialy boab even wi the broken fingers and alot of elbow grease we managed to get rid of the W + C leaving just the A + K and as little bit of the C, been trying like a mofo to get rid of the rest of the residue off with various products including clay bar as people said at the meet, but it is a stuborn little f##ker. heres what ive tried and the results which is much diference. they took a little bit more of the A away and a little more of the K but no more is coming off, any more sudgestions folks? other than tackling with a safety blade..?

TORN OR FOR PROPER KNACKERED SHOCK/MOUNTS -
Weird Noise From Rear Near Side Wheel
thebigfelly replied to john_mchutchison's topic in Scottish Scoobies
im no mechanic or mechanicly minded, just learn from experience or problems I or other people have had but i would sudjest - Get under there and check your frame for cracking where the subframe bolts up. If that's not it, pull your carpet from the boot sides and check your rear shock mounts for tearing. The second is the most common and the easiest to fix, the first is less common but more serious when it comes to repairs. Otherwise, are you sure the shocks themselves are ok? They could be bottoming out and it's the dead shock you're hearing. option two - flat spot on the tyre? tyre not completely round , jack it up and feel around for a flat spot that could cause certain bang/crunch sound, but only if youve skidded or spun out the tyres ... option 3 - wheel bearing or as what im having the now buckled wheel hub... but then youd probably notice the tyre sticking out the wheel arch as mine is and everyone noticed at the falkirk wheel meet lol like i said im no mechanic in any way shape or form so maybe the more experienced members and hands on guys will have better sudjestions as to what it might be , but thats mine so far lol -
saw clyde tunnel thot it was a post about an ex of mine as she was like it .. sausage up a close lol

Officers Crash Suspected Drunk Drivers Car
thebigfelly replied to G.Mac's topic in Scottish Scoobies
yeah probably get off with it or hide it under the rug, surely theres some twist that it would come under theft or something like that , as they have taken the car without permisions and rideing around in it , diferent if they were going back to the station with the car, but to just take it and p1$$ about in it because they fancy a shot is a different matter police or no police - According to current legislation, a driver is guilty of dangerous driving in one of two ways. Firstly, the way he or she drives falls far below what would be expected of a competent and careful driver, and secondly it would be obvious to a competent and careful driver that driving in that way would be dangerous. There are two forms of the careless and inconsiderate driving offences: •Driving without due care and attention, ie the motorist did not show the proper care and attention of a reasonable, competent and prudent driver; •And driving without reasonable consideration for other road users. For dangerous driving, the maximum prison term a court is allowed to prescribe is two years, while it can hand out an unlimited fine, a disqualification and penalty points. For careless and inconsiderate driving there is a £2,500 maximum fine (the government currently wants to raise this to £5,000). Disqualification is at the court's discretion and it can impose penalty points. surely this should happen to the two police officers or atleast the one that was driving , but then it will be a case of the law is optional depending on who you are, like lysnda lohan on the drugs offenses , or pete docherty , only he could get knicked in court for drugs and get of wi it, or reduced jail terms or get their sentences halved, because their famous , i hate that its double standards , if it was me it wldnt be special treatment , the stars /rich and famous get put in with everbody else and serve the time , police who break the law should get the same , not just a simple suspension ... neway rant over .... as stated it was only an evo -
yeah used to test their breaking ability and reaction time in my old corsa's and my hyundai coupe on the odd ocasion , but i wldnt wana graze my scoob , id be heartbroken incase they failed on all accounts and went into the back i try to refrain from gestures unless its a freindly wave to another scoob, but i have thrown the odd couple especialy when sitting behind a woman driver on a roundabout while she waits for a 500meter gap to squeeze her little micra in , then after 5mins decides to pull out infront of a car when its 5ft away and cause them to break , sometimes wonder how they passed their test other than wearing a low cut top and push up bra and depending on attractivness level ........ an optional paper bag with two eye holes cut just to distract the driving instructor/test ajudicator ...

was a little bit wet last night was on my way back from the the pictures at ocean terminal , had a nice driver in a bmw driving up my rear most the way from ocean terminal riding right on my bumper making me have to break later at lights all the way up to milton road junction, then trys to under take me and cut infront another near accident all because im going the legal road speed and not flooring it , maybe he was thinking im a wee boy racer just because the scoob is stickered up or maybe because its just a scoob i was in , but i wasnt biting , get to the roundabout at the jewel next to the big asda just as you pull onto the bypass , and as i start to go up it and pull away from the bmw drivier the boost kicks in 3.5 thousand revs and the back end slides out a bit and turns slightly into the right hand lane .. luckily nothing in the right hand lane and quick reaction from me easing of the gas and turning the wheel back into the left probably saved me + the good lady siting sideways over both lanes , wasnt expecting that to happen as i didnt floor it completely to pull away fi the bmw but was definatley a brown moment for the missus , and an adrenaline rush for me , but the main thing is , i still got away from the bmw is there anything that can be done to reduce the chances of this happening again? running on eagle f1's ,
