cant agree enough , back up there on the 17th for respray , have yet to try something from the van as i always get a mcd's on the way up lol

already done the unthinkable and go back to a £45 a month bus pass for the 30min comute to work , savin me £200 on petrol , and just keep the scoob as a car for my days off , ocasional night out and for club meets/events already spent £450 on rear wheel area getting fixed, and about to spend £80 getting scoop resprayed ,and fitted , which is money i cant realy affoard the now

aye think when i was p there gettin my wheel sorted gareth the guy that had the saxo was in and hes the one thats putin the shell of his saxo onto the body of the scoob , going for a fast mofo of a car like

already done my wee run, topped up on vpower at gorebridge then down the back roads into gala, got a nice wee mc'ds for lunch , popped into halfords, then over to hawick, convient P1$$ break at morrisons there , then back home through to gala and down through lauder on the A68 over sutra hill, no bad wee drive roads all seemed fine and not to busy , tho did get stuck behind a scooter for a cpl miles , but the long straights out of lauder and soutra hill part made up for that not bad used of just under half a tank of petrol , and had weather on my side and no greasy or slipy roads

cheers midnight, yeah i was thinking that too and do enjoy the twisty roads out that way , and hav the satnav but know some of the good roads down that way from when i stayed at lauder , now just gota move my arse first and get to the bank for funds lol

ok folks its the 2nd last day of my holiday , before i go back to work on monday gave the car a good clean yesterday and gutting inside the car aswel long time needed ,so im thinking i go to the local shell garage and fill her up with v-power and go a drive but where to go , staying in dalkieth im thinking of goin my usual runs , option 1 either take a trip down the A68 to galashiels + kelso way , or maybe go the A720 and go the back way into gala, or option 2 do i head down to eyemouth/berwick way which is more bypass driving.

just noticed tho , if you look close enough at the exhaust you can see the round tail pipes hidden behind the sqaureish outlest, but still looks sh1t hot

aye as far as a know unless ur a full member you can only use the gallery images, could be wrong like, but before i became a full member today , i just had to use the gallery image

just to say im now a new member kimmy managed to change and sort out my settings for me which took a couple days for me to try to join up , so now im with the dark side and a full member now

paint works just gona be a bit of t-cut and alot of polish , the paints just lightly scuffed nothing to bad

yeah , hes footin the bill , still got to see him and giv him the reciept , but i intialy said £65 + vat , so hes gettin it a bit cheaper ,

forgot to add , to tidy the dent cost £50 +vat £60 in total , said it was tough to psh out as it was on one of the weekest parts of the wing and that there was two brackets in the area where the mud guard in the wheel arch atches and where the bumper atches to the wing, that he had to work round , but it was cheaper than i thot anyway ,

finaly had the guy from dent central come and take the dent out my front wing from when my neighbour reversed into it , had never heard of paintless dent removal, but the guy done a good job id say , he said it wasnt a full repair its what hed call a " tidy" but from what i could see other than the scratches and scuffs in paint the dent is gone , BEFORE - AFTER - SO Il spend time on the paint work when the weathers a bit better ,also wana say thanks to gmac for the sudjestion on the paint from B+Q to use for the parts behind the grill in the engine bay , worked a treat , took about 3 coats and done the trick

nah no slippery , just full of holes everywhere !!!!!!!!

just power washed the car , and must have had a chip in the paint on the bonnet scoop as when i went over the scoop with the power hose , on the corner and bit of paint roughly 50pence size flaked off down to the white plastic of the scoop. not sure if il need an entire respray on the scoop or if just geting this 50p sice bare plastic resprayed would work, also anyone ideas on cost ? would one of the mobile respray vans work or we talking body shop? or cheaper buying a 2nd hand scoop in same colour if findable ? any info as usual apreciated, starting to think my scoob is cursed lol

im off work the last week in march so can defo make this , . lets get the ball rolling on this , all 18 places filled with members basicly 2 months notice here , shld be possible !! maybe get the numbers listed and then a £50 deposit from each person and sqaure up the other £100 when payments due for knockhill. or jus go with the full £150 in a lump sum? or if last day for payment was march 1st then maybe 3 eqaul payments of £50 every cpl weeks up til 1st of march? sory getin carried away and excited at floorin a scoob round a rally track
