as some of you might know ,not had the best of luck with my motor since day one , but today it is finaly resolved , been back and forward to ra motorsport in perth since december where i got a free winter check , its a lil bit of a drive up to RA MOTORSPORT from where i am in edinburgh aout an hour roughly but nice solid bypass driving and im used to going up to dundee anyway so wasnt too much hassle , anyway cant praise andy and the lads up at ra motorsport , very helpful ,very imformative, no bulls##t and doesnt think about how much money he can pocket , worked round dates and times that suited me even though hes been super busy , very punctual in keeping in touch regualry and replyed to emails straight away when i asked questions or tried organising things . as some may know from the shows i attended last year , the rear passenger wheel was goosed and stuck straight out, well on the winter check when i first took it in andy and the mechanics noticed it and checked it all not in depth tho as it was just a winter check it was in for , topped up a cpl fluids and noticed a wireing problem that they sorted aswel, done a good look over on the wheel and we arranged a date after xmas to get it properly booked in and looked at , took it up last week got it on the ramp, wheel off , had a good look at it checked everything over thoroughly showed me what was wrng and where , tried on a spare strut he had sitin there , and the nearly straightened the wheel up , my strut i had was bent like a banana, the hub was slightly bent and bearings were goosed aswel, let me drive away with the spare strut he had without payin a penny, and ordered up a new hub and con rods , was back in today parts had arrived , new hub and con rods got fitted took it out on test drive everything is running mint , back in got all 4 wheel off and fitted my scoobyworld mudflaps for me aswel , guys done a fantastic job , andy is very helpful guy and trusting to let me drive away with the spare strut until i got the other parts in, always offering a cuppa and sumthin from the sandwhich van if i wanted which im gona have to take him up on the offer next time ,the banter wi him and lads and some of the storys made me laugh and the time pass quickly , and like i said didnt think of his own pocket when sorting me out , offered advice and opinions on various ideas i had as to what road i wana take the car down for modding , would recomend him and the lads up there to anyone even if you just try for yourself once and it was worth the drive up , been a few years since i had service as good as that .

gutting stat to the day/new year wi the scoob already - got scoobyworld mudflaps for xmas from the missus (she knows me well) and took the car over to the parents driveway while they went out to fit them, also tok off front grill cause i noticed something i wanted to ask you fine folks but back to that in a min, neway get all the parts from the pack out and organised into piles and groups (bit anal retentive ) and then procede to stick the sti decals to the flaps , afterwards jack the car up take off all the wheel nuts on the first wheel get to the secure bolt and when i go to remove that the socket doesnt grip the bolt , folks are away and the old man has the socket set in the car proced to put all nuts back on lower car down and just as ive tidyed up put everything away go to start the car and the battery is dead :( so now whave to wait for the parental units to get home to i can hook the scoob up to the old mans car wi the jump leads :( very bad start to the new year gutted and no mud flaps fitted . now for the paint question ,---- looking through the grill i see these parts and wonder what paint i can use to put them back to being black again.

what kind of costs am i lookin at rig? its not a severe dent just the bit of the front wing that meets the bumper is dented in and possible small round dent too where his bumper has hit, wana try avoiding an insurance jobbie as i already claimed for the new windsheild on it also think there might be a crack in the paint on the wheel arch where it meets the bumper but i can get that fixed later -

sittin here browsing the form and suddenly here the scoob alram going of, seein how theres been a spate of thefts round my wee area i nash quickly to chuck on the trainers and get my a$$ out there as soon asap. to find the neighbours car sitting in middle of car park engine running and and him walking towards me say " sorry mate ive just clipped the side of your car with my rover mg , i didnt see it as i was reversing out my space" - TO BE FAIR ITS NOT LIKE ITS UNDER THE STREET LIGHT IN BLUE WITH BIG YELLOW DECALS ON THE SIDE..ohh wait it is how the **** can he miss it? and not use his rear mirror , its not like its moved from the same spot in over a year and its not like you have to walk past it to get to any of the other cars so u notice its there before you even get to another car grrr neway says hes hit it on the front wing but due to it being late at night and the amount of muck on it from the roads cant see any damage and hopefully there isnt any ,, still doesnt mean im not pissed of tho will be getting a fll check and wash the mora , guy may wake to find his tyres slashed grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
