cheers folks , yeah still got some to do , was also pondering about putting the swoosh and stars on the bonnet , usualy see them on the boot at the back , but was thinking just infront of the scoop and above the subaru world rally team writting .. what yous think.? think someone at the highland centre show had it on theres, but they were from a different group saw the pics on here
-
nah kep them on:P the only thing i dnt like bout mine is it doesnt have the blue highlight under the yellow swoosh .

cheers mystery machine , yeah always wanted the decals couldnt just leave it plain
-
got a kit of decals not exactly the ones i wanted but it does some of the look , still got a couple more to put on and as it wasnt the complete kit i wanted , i just put them where i thought they looked best , still got a load of them left over from the main ones , still got the mud flaps to buy and put on , maybe tint the rear windows, sunstrip, blue locking nuts on the wheels too

ok foolwed the seat belt guide and it was super simple and in total if you took the time out that i used to take the pics it was a matter of a 3min job and wolla no more squeeking , and that is from me being a bit skittish about removing the interior of my car lol i used a safety blade plastic came of realy easy like putty not tough at all this is a pic of the left and right pillars at the top, one of the left with the plastic bit removed and one on the right with it still attached you can just see the lip of the plastic infront of the circle bits in the middle same pic from above , as again one on left plastic removed one on right before removed close up of the bit of plastic to be removed

i would personaly like to go for what they do in - " i think it was the volkswagen advert", get your passenger to hang out the window with a MASSIVE trout or salmon , slow down and whack them with it as for the cyclist , i often see them just run through the red lights , they know the lights for the other side have turned red and instead of stopping and waiting 10 seconds for it to start to change they just cycle straight on through, even worse when the filter through the cars offside and inside until they get up to the line and then sit bang right infront of you ,instead of just to the left , im not tarring every cyclist with the same brush as i do get plenty that hold back just off to the left of me if im at the lights . i do when passing try to give them atleast 5foot of room , im sure i read somewhere that you have to give significant and i always try to give a fair amount or if its a bit tight i will hang back instead of passing very close to them much to the annoyance of the drivers behind me , but the way i see it , they could come off and fall infront of me and there we go hes turned into a mini speed bump . you could always argue about them jumping the red lights like ive said but they dont all do that , but then you have the drivers that see the lights turning to orange and speed up just to nip through before it turns to red instead of waiting two mins , or if it is on red they just keep crawling through waiting for it to go to orange before going to green , or maybe thats just poor clutch control.

hmmm , think i could go down the upgraded preformance breaks cause i like to reverse at high speed
-
audio rs4 i think it was , up my rear on edinburgh city bypass, coming up the slip road, onto the bypass , all the way into the outside lane, when i didnt speed up he pulls alongside me in the inside lane , looks over and sees that its the gf driving (she wanted a shot ) sticks with us for about a min then just pulls off infront of us , duno if they think im a boy racer because of the decals on the ca or if its the scoob or a mix of both , p.s anyone else noticed their a better driver or slower driver since owning a scoob or is it just me. in my coupe i used to just hammer it everywhere take the revs right up to 7and a half , now in the scoob im very conciencious keep the revs low around 2k mark and try to squeeze as many miles out of a tank of petrol as much as possible . but i do open the throttle every now and again . even driving to work i leave earlier just so i dont floor it like i used to ,
-
aye ur tellin me , went to asda at the jewel in edinburgh , pulled up to space got the complimentry looks from a few people of OOOOH NICE , then they look away , i start to reverse into the space and just as i apply the breaks !!!! SCREEECH!!!!!!! heads imediatley turn in my direction and its a look of awww so basicly the advice is , never reverse , never reverse park , infact my scoob wasnt made with a reverse gear , it was an optional extra at the factory

strange one for me first time in any car ive had this... driving forward and applying the brakes either firmly/softly/gradualy at high speed ,low speed anything and there is no noise, no grinding of the pads indicating wear and no squeaks/screetching whatever you wana call it theres nothing at all, brakes seem to work fine if not rather well like brand new !!!! now here lies the problem , when ever i reverse , even just applying the breaks slowly or fiirmly and theres the high pitch squeak/screetch like the sound you get when it indicates the pads are low and needing changed , but only happens when reversing any ideas people, never had this before on any of my previous 4 cars accept when the pads ARE needing replaced and if happens when breaking going forwards aswel as reversing not just the one direction, again il say theres no sound ever when going forward AND BREAKS SEEM TIP TOP to make car stop on a dime , dunno what type of pads /discs are on the car though it is brembo calipers , with 17" wheels. so why just the sound when i reverse and break.... thanks in advance for anyone with a clue or if someones had a similar issue

seen something similar to this a cpl years ago , it was a guy from leeds i think who charged around 5k-10k for his car wash and he said it was that brazilian wax that bumps the price up so much , sure he was working on many rich and famous peoples cars think rod stewarts lambo was one of his regualar cars , or maybe someone else that was famous but it was defo a yellow lambo , still no matter how rich i was i still wouldnt pay someone 7k to clean my car for four weeks

what about a clio 182//f1 volvo c30 new rx8 seat leon fr

lol if i remeber right the edinburgh cruise lads used to and still do meet up calton hill/ waterloo place and the petrol station just down the other side fi it , or theyd be at mcdonlads opposite meadow bank, before they shut f princes treet , it used to be a nice wee race along princess street . then once done that - up lothian road ,then down to the grass market up to the royal mile then down the north bridge and a right back up waterloo place
-
thinking the new blue wrx sti has the same body as a new mondeo or sumthing similar but with a scoop on the bonnet and big spoiler on the back . or is that just me ..
-
maybe just done it for apeal or dreams that its a Rs4 bit like the guys at the classic ford show - guy does his ford to look like a charger , or this nice lambo reminds me of that episode of top gear SUPPER CARS UNDER £10,000 where clarkson bout that classic super car that the guy spent £30 on a badge to say it was the SS version when it was actualy bog standard

yeah have to agree, loved doing that to bmw drivers and so forth or the tighter bends in my 1.2 modded corsa, it only ran with about 120bhp couldnt tell it was a wee nipper from the outside, just a wee roof spoiler front splitter and a spilt oval exhaust on the back other than that looked prety normal, but boy i could go round the coners , see the bigger cars catching up with me on the straights but when it came to a corner sit out wide and cut to the inside of the bend without breaking and looking in the mirror and seeing the thing that was previously an inch off my bumper appplying the breaks bricking it and falling behind, just when it came to the tsraights if they i didnt have a big enough lead coming out of the corners , theyd catch up and over take , but id always be smilling that what they paid 3 or 4 times the pricefor their car jus got ripped apart in the bends by my wee car

not had anything since the engines been fixed, but before it did get fixed, was behind a silver rx8 heading from sheriff hall to the gyle, was up along side it , and it kept throtling up to pull away by a few feet then take foot off gas again so id cach up though i was about two car lengths behind it and kept a steady pace, wasnt until he pulled into left lane to le me nearly pass and then cut me up that i started to get a heavier right foot, he tried pulling away and i stayed with him then he pulled into the left lane again and i over took him at which point he started to slow down , other than that nothing since the fixed engine , though i am heading down to eyemouth next wedensday so might have a few bites then ,
