  1. Just under the bumper right next to the number plate - the gopro comes with all the brackets and waterproof housing (though think i'll put some rain-x on the lens for next time C.
  2. hi mate, its a gopro HD! C.
  3. totally hear that about the baffled sump mate yeah. shouldn't you have remapped after decatting? yeah flywheel and underdrive pulleys are an excellent start. you can do more, but diminishing returns apply. driveshaft!? anything that spins i suppose. lol. doing any of this though will be rubbish for launches, but great for a track. Cheers, Chris.
  4. why only 1.1 bar mate? I totally love my 6 speed, get everything lightened up and changing gear becomes a pleasure, blips with the heel so easily. remember that if you change to a 6 speed then all the rear hubs get changed too, which includes the newage 2 pots on the rear obviously. Although I do fancy trying 450 odd bhp on a top mount, I don't think i'm going to bother upgrading my turbo and injectors, only if something breaks - just cos it all seems to work so nicely at the moment. I'm trying to work out how to get slicks on, maybe a swirl pot, but thats all for me. Cheers, Chris.
  5. its a WRX-RA, standard block, hyperflow tmic, vf29 at 1.5 bar, 440cc, fuel/air flow tweeks, 6 speed, 4.3kg flywheel, light pulleys, whiteline all round, standard sti suspension, parada's and ap 6 pots with road pads. reckoned to be about 330/330 and yours mate? I thought you must have lifted off quite a lot to let me pass.
  6. LOLLL! its no problem just to upload that part mate - though looking at the video it seems far more composed than it felt at the time - see what you think as you were there
  7. Hi Adam, excellent day mate, had a total blast. Thanks for the pax lap a nice lesson in brave lineage at duffus, but not so sold on your hairpin technique That photo was definately taken before my pax, its still looking way too white. had a great laugh, my car seemed to be going smoothly, my only niggle is just getting some decent bloody brake pads in, these ds2500 still shudder after nurburg. couple of videos, the track look busy cos I've just picked out bits with other cars in. I had loads of clear track, but nobody wants to see that now do they. it gets a bit rainy at the end of video 2. Chris.
  8. booked!
  9. YELLOW! Well I like it, lol.
  10. couldn't you have got rid of the missus instead?
  11. here's are some other highlights from this guys videos. ridiculous chase - I'd love to know what they're saying during this - sounds serious stealing a car don't know what happened here - skip to 0:50 Breakdancing Policeman
  12. incredible.. Whooaaa I was just wondering why this guy was filming and seeing his other videos WTF!! thats why I'm glad we live in britain!
  13. Shame there doesn't appear to be more interest.. I live in a flat and it so painful having to park on the street. Another graze appeared on the car the other day I suppose most people have their houses and driveways or whatever and can't justify the cost. These just don't come up very often at all.. in fact I've never seen something like this come up so close to town. Anyway, not sure if its still available, I'll ring him, if suddenly there's loads of interest and we can go and see it. Cheers Chris.
  14. would that be the Pagid RS29s? yeah I was told about them, let me know how you find them!
  15. Hi All, I've been looking for a garage for ages to 1) store my van (which is quite tall) and 2) to keep the car out of the streets and possibly to attempt my own work on it. And came across something interesting. Gumtree Ad It says it has space for 6-8 cars to do with whatever you want. I'm not exactly sure what I'm proposing here, I suppose best case it would be great to find 3-6 trustworthy folk who have been looking for something similar. I would probably pay 100 per month towards use of a space like this (if it was in leith, which I'm still to confirm) Anyone else? Cheers, Chris.
  16. just wanted to raise this thread from the dead to say that I now hate my DS2500's. The new ones I put on started leaving deposits of themselves upon my discs causing shuddering when hot. Until I rub down my discs properly I can feel them acting a little uncertain under hardish braking. Anyone want to buy some DS2500's almost completely new? :biggrinsanta: i want to get myself those PF's. Chris.
  17. that is incredible!
  18. Just did a search and this story about him came up first! used google cache to read it though, so he's obviously had it removed recently. CachedStoryLink Ok I will have a go. All this stuff about returning an unsigned NIP seems like a conniving pursuit to me. I realise that its a valid loophole, but also, I requested the evidence for the alleged offence, and received some nice clear pictures of my face. so thats sort of that. My situation is that I need 5 points, because the prize for 6 would be a totting up ban At the very least, I'll have a very thorough read through, thanks for pressing me. Thanks Bobby, I've heard back from a couple of people already, Michael Lyon quoted 1000+v. I almost hung up on him, but now I'm seeing that that is (if anything) under the going rate! I'll get in touch with him and see what they say, thanks mate. Chris.
  19. Meant to post this in the wiy I was following a newage scooby in my van last week up at sighthill, it was driving sensibly as far as I could tell, but as it came off a roundabout there was a bit of wild fishtailing before he got it back under control.. So you don't have to be going quickly to get into trouble either! Chris. ps. glad you and your wee'un are ok btw!
  20. its ok I was driving with my feet at the time, so I think I've got a good case.
  21. Thats great thanks Gumball.. I've emailed Jim now too. Cheers,C.
  22. Cheers Andy, I saw pepipoo a while back when I received my Notice of Intended Prosecution and I assumed it wasn't scottish enough, but I've just seen that they do list Michael Lyon (who comes top of google) I've got my citiation now so need a scottish lawyer. I'll email Michael Lyon and see what they say. Anyone got any experience with them? Cheers.
  23. Hi All, has anyone had good representation, and wishes to pass on the contact details of a decent lawyer? (its speeding related). I can just take the first page Google gives me but getting to the top of google does not necessarily = good. Cheers, Chris.
  24. glad to her it.. nice one chaps.
  25. Just did a search for winter tyres and google came up with this! now just need a bag of nuts and bolts - sorted! Chris.
