  1. sorry to hear about that guys, sounds like a right tw*t I doubt I would have moved... lorry or no lorry. I wouldn't have been in any rush to go anywhere... especially if I had seen any of the antics forcing folk off the road 23 of you and only 1 of him.... why didn't somebody stop him?
  2. looks like a fantastic trip guys. gutted I'm stiff stuck offshore or I would have been there too that's shocking. Should have made a rolling road block and had a group beating
  3. exactly my thinking Just shows that more people would probably use Crail if they tidied it up a bit!
  4. I really really really want a shot like that of mine now
  5. I had one on my last car for a full year and there was quite alot of stuff stuck to it The filter mags are supposed to be a much better option though as they are bigger and catch almost the full through-flow all the time
  6. that looks fantastic fancy strapping it onto my Defender for some offroad action? It's perfectly flat almost all over lol
  7. can't wait to see this in the flesh at the weekend, it looks a bit mental
  8. £35 all in? Strip too? Sounds not too bad at all
  9. Juging by the bucket seat and roll cage it must be a sleeper of some sort.... or the farmer just likes to be secure
  10. doubt that would fit in the parking spaces.... or between traffic calming come to think of it.... over here
  11. some impressive looking machines there! What was the tractor all about???
  12. how much was it to get in and on the strip?
  13. turns out this is the same guy I was on about stuart@towlegal.co.uk or phone 07721 659731
  14. I second that I looked at getting a normal Hawk Eye STi and adding the usual bits to it, until I discovered that the insurance would be MORE than the RB320 I ended up getting with all the bits on it already
  15. there's a guy on the Landrover site I'm on involved in some sort of safe towing group, so I'll ask him if there's any he could suggust that are a bit closer
  16. get yourself over to the owners club then, the link is in my signature
  17. a very impressive pair you have there I keep threatening to buy my mate's slightly tuned Type R for a track toy.... looks and sounds like fun!
  18. I do a bit of towing with my Defender, and when the other half was moving house I went to hire a box trailer After spending hours reading up on it I concluded that you could tow up to the Gross weight of the vehicle, so in my case 2.5 tonnes... wrong! It's all very complicated, but the local hire place said the same thing as above. 750kg un-braked on a normal licence. Anything over that or with a braked trailer you need to sit an additional test I wonder how many people are towing caravans illegally thinking they are ok?
  19. there's a good guy in Kincardine that does it if you are in the central belt I'll be doing the same soon
  20. ah I know it very well too. My mate bought it off Stevie Ho after he built it. It's had a bit of a soap opera life since birth that one While my mate had it he too found the limits of the brakes after thrashing an Evo 5. It was all going well until we entered the Lathallan roundabout backwards Soon as the drama that was getting it fixed was over he sold it Was a stunning car though. I very almost bought it off him but someone else got there first
  21. good stuff get yourself over to the Scottish Land Rover Owners Club (SLROC) when you do
  22. Shut it you I've got the orange sticker on the splitter and a square one over where each fog light would be Since I'm nearer to Norway than home it wasn't me I have seen another one about with just the orange splitter badge, it parked next to my Landrover at Xtreme karting the day before I picked up mine
