  1. good grief.... that's ugly
  2. I can't justify £35 for a stack of things that are no use to me other than a few badges... and I already have some of those... plus another £10 just for a badge! is it just me or has everyone gone crazy?
  3. damn, that's not much use
  4. none in the North Sea yet, jhust rain and fog so far
  5. Just noticed that StrikE has a very cool little Scottish Scoobies Supporter badge under his name... how does one go about getting one of them? Coz it's well cool!
  6. just type "trailer hire Fife" into Google, that's how i found my trailer to use for moving last week. I used a company called "tow it"... very resonably priced One thing that almost caught me out was that you need an additional trailer test to tow anything over 740kg if you passed your test after 1997 I think it was. If you get a trailer I'll tow it with my Defender if you want, as long as I'm onshore and available
  7. Tam is the man when it comes to this stuff, you guys should check out his website. I was there that day and IMO those aren't the best two he took, but are certainly the most striking.
  8. I save my flashing (ooo err) for the Special Editions like the P1, WR1... ect as they are fellow Prodrive spawn, but I get ready to wave back at anyone who fancies waving at me. Have to say the few times I have waved I've got a "who the feck are you" look back, oh well The missus also things I'm being silly, so I don't do it if she is there When I'm out in the Defender they all wave at each other... unless it's a works vehicle
  9. Ross Stewart Me in work mode My RB 320
  10. I'm lucky enough to have both. I have a CG lock in the RB, and it is a fantastic little bit of kit and you do feel alot more secure with it. The main plus over the harnesses is that you can still lean forward with ease. I've got full harnesses in the Defender, and great as they are for off road stuff they are a bit of a pain on the road. If you set them up so they are comfortable and still allow movement you probably wouldn't be held very well in an accident... and if you set them up properly you can't move, can bearly reach the sterio controls and forget looking at junctions lol Depends how often you drive it and where. If you do mostly motorway then you wouldn't need to lean forward very often
  11. the front looks very P1, and I agree the side skirts look like body coloured classic skirts
  12. aw man, that's rubbish My girlfriend was hit like that recently and the tw*t just drove off without a trace. Avoid carparks, that's the only thing for it
  13. some very nice pics there, and it is a cracking looking car
  14. That is one nutty looking machine. Love that rear wing! I really hate 3 spoke wheels, so for me that's the only part that I don't really like
  15. Bad timing... I wanted to go to this but the missus is into hospital early on Friday, so looks like it'll be the local Falkirk Cruise for me this month Next time hopefully!
  16. I do I look worried? Got the strut brace on last night... not convinced that bright pink looks right but I'll leave it for now. Might get it powdercoated orange in the summer It's amazing the difference a few shiney bits make to the engine bay
  17. hahaha thats good
  18. hahahaha!
  19. 2nd that, Gav has fitted a stack of stuff for me in the past and is a top bloke, plus an official dealer He will come to you if required
  20. ok that came out wrong too... I'm just going to shut up now lol I do like the STi in white... and so does the missus so trying to convince her to get one
  21. Hmm they looked like they had different surrounds to the bottom lights, might just be the photoshopping changing them slightly Mine are chrome, and don't really like them
  22. haha perhaps I should have added to the end of that last statement that I got the RB320 because I was holding out for a special Impreza that I could keep. I could have had a normal WRX Sti type aaages ago but held off... and trust me it was very very worth it!
  23. those are some fantastic pics! I really like those rear lights... are they just the standard STi ones?
  24. But I'm losing weight after Christmas, so it'll work out about the same in the end Anyway, if I wanted to go fast I could have spent £5k less and bought a Skyline R34 and had enough change left to get silly power out of it. I'm not that bothered about going fast so it's not an issue. With the amount of police about my way it's just stupid - and the amount of track time I'm likely to get...if any... just makes it even more pointless. Yeah I loved my ZR, there wasn't much left standard on it. I had a fancy manifold and straight through exhaust on it so it sounded like a bike when you gave it welly. I do miss it some times, but it was far too underpowered... plus you get fed up with the "Rover with a bodykit" comments all the time With me working offshore and having a Landrover to do the donkey work my play things never do many miles, so it's much easier keeping them clean
  25. not my car, but basicallt what I want to do to mine eventually. Might get a carbon belt cover to finish it all off
