  1. haha you'd be supprised how many there seem to be around me. The day before I went to pick mine up I had one park next to me at the local gokarting track! I've always been a bit daft about having a clean engine bay, and my first MG had alot of alloy parts in the enigne bay It was a swine to clean, but the amount of people that commented on it and took pictures of it made it worth it. Probably not going to go to the same extent this time round but I wanted some nice bits to look at under there. I was going to go down the carbon fibre road but it's waaaay too expensive and there don't seem to be as many parts available The bits are still on order, but will stick a pic up once they get here
  2. That's not as bad as those who seem to have crashed into Maplins
  3. in most cases you can get a decnet car detailer to "correct" these so that you wouldn't even know they were there - and it'll be much cheaper!
  4. why keep it standard? So I can look like all the other Rb320's? Where's the fun in that As said above the outside and interior will be staying standard -and those are the unique bits. The engine is the same as every other impreza out there so I want to make it look a bit better And as long as it's all reversable I cant see an issue
  5. A friend was up and took some pictures http://www.falkirkcruise.net/forum/viewtop...=69&t=32683
  6. Canal Bank Estate, Unit 8 Seabegs Rd, Bonnybridge, FK4 2BP 01324 810111 It was John at Progrip who showed Duncan how to use his kit
  7. Progrip is the only garage I would trust with anything suspension-related... he's on the edge of Bonnybridge near Falkirk
  8. that is one cracking looking car, nice work on the engine bay!
  9. Not quite 450, but I'm aiming to change the exhaust and get it mapped over the summer to mid 300's somewhere. Not too sure how high I want to go yet. Nope
  10. Well I knew it was going to happen, and today it did I put in an order with Scoobyparts for a few toys for the RB. Nothing drastic...yet. A nice Sti strut brace, some engine bling and some nice Buddyclub caps for the oil and radiator
  11. haha that's a fantastic little site
  12. cheers for the advice guys
  13. Something I've been looking into aswell. Having an RB320 I think it has the same PPP single cat as mentioned above If I go for a full de-cat will it increase the performance much? Will it still run right?
  14. I'm hoping to do the same in the coming months, so more info would be great!
  15. I've heard just as many complaints about Star, so I suppose it depends on who you trust. I've done a few RR days at Hypertec and yes they left the bonnet shut on a few cars - but to be honest the short time the Corsa's and Saxo's were on there I doubt it made much difference! As for the small fan comment, yes they use a small fan to blow cold air directly into the cold air feed if you have one - that's the only time it's used. Air from inside the building? I don't get that comment as the Hypertec RR is almost outside anyway!
  16. Hypertec are the local jap specialists and Duncan will be able to point you in the right direction with any problems, but I've been to Dastek a few times and always had good results and advice All depends on the price I suppose, and both can be very busy so book in advance!
  17. I can't see Mr Plod being too impressed with that, but it is a very cool idea!
  18. I'm up for this if you need me don't mind sticking some ribbons on the car either if required.
  19. depends where you stay
  20. there's a couple of places that sell it locally, check the website as it has a list of all the places that stock it
  21. mine turned up on Thursday
  22. well at least you know where the limits are now.... expensive way to find out right enough!
  23. oooooo those are nice!
