  1. SIDC jargon for sending a PM, Andy!!! Keep up! 2 thoughts for you in buying alloys (and the Revos are a GOOD choice IMHO) - try and keep them light as heavy wheels rob power... big consideration on you non-turbo motor. Other thing is, go wide enough to allow for any brake mod you MIGHT wanna consider. Pre-2005 STI alloys (or the revos) are a gd choice as they'll clear big brakes but still fit your 5x100 stud pattern.
  2. Ah... better transmission: "Dog" box versus...? *lol* No, better not post any more of THAT on the open forum!!!
  3. Thought you wanted a new age?
  4. ...and just plain (Suba)rude in places!
  5. Well done team subaru, and great write-up Andy! I love it... an extra 0.1bar of boost here a wee tweak there. Genius!

  7. Dropping a W12 into the Golf are we? *chuckle*
  8. Cue "Project RB420" - hurrah!
  9. How annoyed was yer mate that ye kept stopping for snaps? *chuckle* Happy memories of the 'Fling 2010. +1 for a repeat... but no yellow NSX's this time please!
  10. The Laydees love the Leggys! (Well... mine does anyway!)
  11. Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwch. At least his wipers still worked.... Evo looked reasonably unscathed
  12. Huey indeed! Need to reprimand you for those pics Craig... you're CLEARLY inside the safety cordon and should be flogged accordingly! But at least 2 pints makes for a cheaper night out! *lol*
  13. SIDC on the BBC!!! ... and it couldn't be for a better cause - well done all of you. I type all this with a tear in the eye and a lump in the throat. His wee face was a picture!!!
  14. Glad you spotted the 3 year thing Paul... there was me about to pull his leg about offering member discounts when he wasn't paid up!
  15. So why have you started a different thread asking about a JDM Hatch? Hmmm? Chris, keep the classic mate. Re-read the first option from your own poll... you already know the answer!
  16. Let's try and keep this clean, shall we Dave? Great "chop" though... *lol*
  17. Cheers guys (Except Baz! *lol*) You hereby have an open invitation, Imy... ...as do any and all other clubs/ retailers who wanna be part of this next year and beyond. As before, ongoing feedback appreciated (constructive please!)... Glad it's been well enjoyed and thanks again.
  18. That'll be how you got SKINNED by one of them OUTCAST cars at Alford then Dave!!! :rotfl:
  19. Erm... Like... what exactly? *chuckle* C'mon boys! Do yer homework! *lol*
  20. Just a wee shout out to everyone who helped out with SIDC @ Alford 2011 last weekend and made it the success that it was! Well done! CLICKY FOR PICS The "setup crew" had a cracking run up on the Saturday afternoon - sadly net of a Badger... but there was always the RB320 to fall back on... Some folk have it tough... A bit of hard graft in the rain saw the bails and safety barriers whipped up in record time before a well earned knees-up at the Haughton Arms. Good food, good drink and good craic - big thanks for all the hard graft. A pretty decent turnout ensued on sunday in-spite of the less-than-perfect weather and a very selfless team of marshals kept the day running safely and smoothly throughout and then all pitched in to help with a necessarily swift clear-up in the face of a torrential rainstorm - thanks guys! Special thanks to (in no particular order): Peter for the Show and Shine trophies donated free-gratis... The Ice-Cream Man, & Dale for sorting his attendance... Phil for being our Ibiza fire-fighter extraordinaire - good news on this front to be read elsewhere, you'll be pleased to know... Al, Dave and John for stepping in for the Show and Shine judging... Lorna for (wo)manning the tower and track sign-ups... Dave for organising coverage in the Press and Journal and bringing the RA shiny bits... Malcolm and the GTM crew for their hosting support... Del, for bringing my car back in one piece. ... Cathy for being Queen of the chequered flag... Matty and the Pistonheads guys for bringing their stand and joining in the action... ...And once again all the bods who pitched in to help with setup, clear-up and marshalling Finally, a big thanks to everyone who turned up and made the day a success - there would have been no point without you all. your feedback is greatly valued and will all be taken into consideration when planning for next year's event! Roll on ALFORD 2012!!!
  21. ... and yes I know there ARE others
  22. Kev, don't overlook Agra in Dundee as an option. They're a wee bit closer for ya . That's where mine was done and have no complaints. If you're aiming MAX 450 in a road car, 2.5's a good bet. Works for me.
  23. Fine... but would you? Really?
  24. Wee run up to Alford next Sunday if it's needing "wrung out" chief Nice car.
