Rather a lot of these nasty wee humplets in the middle of the road these days. Not sure if I've hit one (more?) a touch hard of late, but have noticed my fronts creak (I think more left than right) even when rolling over them at low speed, albeit with enough oomph to compress the shocks. Not really sure what's up. No creak when I bounce on the front corner meself (but then the car don't bounce much anyway!) and she sits four squre with no leaning at rest and no funny business in the handling department. Can't see much wrong under the arches. Anywhere else I should be looking? Top mounts perhaps? Would appreciate any techy input. Cheers folks! Re: springs (and I'm probably on a "teaching-granny-to-suck-eggs" effort here...) yon Eibach Pro-kit spring setup seems popular, although I'd rate your opinion on it. I see Litchfield are selling the same AST kit used on the current JDM-based Type-20. One assumes that replacing the whole setup'll do a better job than modding components... or is it a bit too expensive and drastic.

Would be interested in this too... particularly if they'd be into custom bodywork...

Ah the much maligned looks of the STI hatch... Maligned rather like every previous generation in fact. But therein is a whole different can of worms which I'm sure has been done to death on other threads. I happen to LOVE my STI hatch and took great exception to dear ole' Clarkson calling it a "smashed buttock"!!! Loving the rear diffuser... always thought the STI hatch rear bumper "lacked" something skirt-wise just behind the wheels. Likewise the stock spoiler.... Nice.... a bit understated and perhaps not QUITE big enough... but THIS effort? Hmmm.....

Bit of a bummer mate... at least they didn't ticket you, unless I misread ur post. Sometimes I wonder if the polis just do that to sort their monthly figures out... they'll have targets to hit so the politicians can say they've got solid crime reduction figures to take back to the electorate. Sadly the definition of crime seems somewhat wayward at times! Mind you, quizzing ur missus as to why she didn't pull over... that's just inexcusable density!
