Yeah there was a comparassion done a while ago about the different fuels and what affect it had on your engine and the 'knock' sensor. The results spoke for themselves and highly recommend running on at a minium super unleaded but preferably either V-Power or Tesco 99. My hawkeye is a STI-Type UK but it still says it should be run on 98 ron fuel... So a trek to Swindon every time I want to fill up! Lol

Mines exactly the same, squeel like a pig when reversing. When it was in for a service I asked Subaru about it and they said they just wanted to be copper greased and that should cure it... They also wanted £80 for the pleasure so I kindly said no thanks to that, but haven't got around to doing them myself as yet!

Ah I see, that's a bloody load of crap then! Luckily I made it back to my old mans yard where it shall sit jacked up for the night while the wheel is off and in the back the 4x4 waiting to be took off tomorrow for a new tyre. Annoying tho cause tomorrow I've gotta go pick the civic up as well after it failed the MOT on monday so had to get them to fix it. Bloody rear brakes were shot so they had to take them all apart to clean and free it all up. So luckily nothing major but still last thing I wanted to spend money on especially now with needing a new tyre Grrrr

Mate how **** is this....... The space saver doesn't fit!?!?!?!?!?!?! It doesn't clear the calipers nor do the wheel nuts fit it!!!!! Serious design fault or something going on!!!!

And the wheels have only done like 4500 miles! Poo sticks!

Tell me about it. Half hour before I was 'flying' down the M4! And the civic failed the MOT this week as well, so picking that up tomorrow, plus the new tyre, expensive day ahead Luckily it's not damaged the wheel that much but still has put a fair few marks on it gutted!

I'll be eating as well me thinks..... As long as I can get a new tyre before friday Oh and Guy will be along as well but is unsure if he's gonna be eating or not!

Well after BOTH my sidelight bulbs blowing I got them replaced today and then on the way home from the missus something didn't feel quite right. Got back to town and could tell I had a flat somewhere.... I think you'll agree it's what they class as proper fooked!?!?!

All I can say is what a F'ing Brilliant day. The weather could not of been better and the ride in the rally car was the best tenner I have ever spent in my life!?!? Glad so much was raised for such a worthy cause.... Tho if you ever arrange another one again I'm definately making sure I'm not working nights either side of the day cause by the time 6am rolled round Sunday morning I was literally falling asleep stood on my feet!!!!!! But it most definately was worth it. Thanks for us inviting us along. Pez
