The amount of turf that came up from under his foot when he slipped looked like someone just used a sand wedge!!!! That pitch is a national embarrassment and needs sorting out once and for all! Will bring the springs, but to be honest taking the spacers out has pretty much solved the problem... Or at least it's as good as it gets without trying to swap the piston, which when I called forge it didn't sound like it was a option. It's 'dumping' at about 0.3bar which I'm sure I've read on here is what you'd recommend. But can have a play if you fancy it. Guy (who's birthday it is today).... Oh you're gonna laugh...... He text'd me this morning with news about his car. As you know it's in David Hendry getting the bottom end rebuilt due to a 'knocking' sound.... Well... Turns out the engine is sound as a pound and that there's actually a hole in the up-pipe causing the 'mechanical sounding knocking noise' (as Guy put it) Lol He's getting a new clutch fitted and sort a couple of oil leaks and some new plugs instead. So he should be along as well

Well that's what i tried to explain but the guy was adament on it being the spring set up

Also Big D... Called Forge up today, very helpful bloke, but he said it seemed very odd even with the 'smaller' piston it should still work ok and that's the design for it to connect to the pipe rather than a hose type like yours. Anyway they're going to send me the next stronger and weaker springs to what is in there already to try. His guess was to use a slightly softer 'idle spring'?, the smaller one and see how that goes. But then just to have a play witht he other springs to see if we can get it working ok. They're getting the springs delivered on Wednesday so he'll send them straight out to me... So friday evening could be busy Lol
