  3. that's less than it's used to wash it ... i washed at least 3 times a-day and polished about 3 or 4 time's a week, Gus i'd just done the whole car with the 3-step Meguires it's only needing another cote of Carnubba wax to seal the shine PS, i never ever used a car shampoo/wash N wax, but that was only due to not allowing it to get dirty enough that it would need soapy stuff i'm missing it more this morning how did it feel on the test track, does it feel quick enough? (for now)
  4. Glad your still liking it Gus .. have you taken it out yet? i took my wife out (as you know!) and there i was driving along the bypass with 5 bodies in a 1.2 corsa thinking to my self "what have i done!!" hopefully monday will come round quick and i'll be back in another rice rocket (with 2 turbo's) keep well Gus Ian (white RA .... no-more)

  15. i used smooth hammerite, i also painted mine while my alloy's where in chameleon Coating
  16. that all sound's to sensible for me .. the night i bought my car it was "well checked out" by 2 impreza owner's that i know who missed out absolutly nothing on the car, all i was wanting more history/info about was the engine work that had been done i only knew any engine work was carried out by seeing the bill's/recipts that came with my car (other than seeing the shiney new fitted block) PS, same goes for insurance with me, if i like the car i normaly just buy it then think "i better see about insurance cost's now?"
  17. the engine was built by a guy called "Scotty" as a hommer, but it was fitted in RDC Car Smart Turriff (Scotty work's there to)
  18. the last owner of my car called me today, nothing to worry about with it's history, he told me some of the engine work done but said i'd be best to call the garage that built it, so i did spoke to the very person who built the engine, some of the spec goe's like this .. it's all above my head! brand new STi Block bored out Forged Piston's new ring's ground crank uprated conrod's hi presure oil pump larger fueling system there was more but i can't remember!! Doh!!

  24. here ya'll go, before and after pic's of my wheel's before .. all four wheel's had scuff mark's, this was the worst nice burnt in coating of brake dust! and now . after Chameleon done there stuff loads more pic's here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3054167
  25. forgot to mention my car only came in to the UK in April 07, so hopefully it's not the ex-sprint car! i also have the proper mileage document showing KPH before it was converted to MPH. I don't think it is hiding any horror stories it drive's "very tight" all panel's are spot-on and on very close inspection the only areas that have ever been painted are the STi part's that have been fitted. pic's http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3054167 PS, it's now even more cleaner than these pic's, i'm hoping to attend next week's meet in Hillington so if anyone want's a proper nosey you are welcome to look like i say's i have the last owners name and addy i can PM it to folk who may know the area
