yeah you cant pick up from him its got to be delivered to ur address. peoples main complaint seems to be the waiting time and extreme lack of contact, update of purchase. however i used them before without any hassle so cant all be bad. prices do seem to be expensive, especially the above example but same can be said for scoobyworld or HT Auto's (£64 for unpainted fog light covers, oem £77 painted from s & s) though HT Auto's are very reliable both product and delivery and are very accomodating and forthcoming with Group buys etc.

bottom end anyone?
-
are these systems not a massive diameter exit too though?
-
ffs, the first words out their mouths should be, i'm really sorry, i'll cover it to fix the damage. cant believe you had to get irate before there were will to do any thing. oh well you'll have learned a lesson about lending a nice car to someone. if they dont have a nice car theres probably a reason lol. gutted for you though mate

nice one dude, its appreciated

so what, would it be case of gettin it towed to ur dads premises? are you in a rush to dispose of your old engine, as maybe this gives me room to source a bigger turbo, injectors and intercooler. i guess it would be smart to change the clutch at this stage too?

loving the spoiler
-
should that be an 'insert 'DOH' here.........' didnt think i gave it the punishment, miles (200 roughly a fortnight) to have to check it say weekly. guess ive learned now tho
-
yeah mine is a wrx too, how would this work with my ecutek liscence? would it be a straight swap, ie exhuast fitting etc the same? last summer the timing belt, water pump etc were done when the headgasket was done, though i'm guessing the top end could have some issues now. out of curiousity how much did your 2.5 cost you? i guess theres no guarantee (spelling? lol) though that this wont happen again to your engine tho? are you a mechanic or do you just know your stuff? yeah i agree about the oil, i'm assuming a cracked block or a blocked oil return hole or something? the oil and filter was changed in july and as it is a newage (6 monthly oil/filter change?) was planning one very soon. i must admit i probably dnt check it as often as i should, however i topped it up say end of Nov and dnt give it much stick so surprised to find the dipstick bone dry 6-8weeks later. is a 2.5 sti engine out a breaker a straight swap option? giving up on the power gains option now as i just want it fixed

east kilbride, south lanarkshire. na it doesnt want to know anymore. acid would that cure my problems? is it a simple case of buying one of these and bolting it straight on? would i see a gain in horse power/torque (i'm figuring i'd obviously need another map) just read a wee bit more, they're in devon and refurb your block, so thats that out the window

Ok, last july it was the head gasket that went now a new year and a new problem, bottom ends gone. i do not know for sure wot it is but would bet my mortgage something in the bottom ends gone, quick synopsis there was a loss of power over say a week then yesterday as i drove it out my street there was a lot of gawd awful screeching and knocking then then the engine gave up. the dipstick was dry, put around four litres in and eventually it read on the dipstick, the car turned over n sounded like normal believe it or not but that was short lived. pretty sure its now seized. i cant believe it, i didnt think these thing 'just happened' as i let the car warm up and down i would hardly say i use it to its full potential. the car is 03 blobeye with 45k on the car and around 300bhp, hardly engine breaking stuff?? what are my options? are there any rebuilding firms up and around here or are they all down south? do i just buy an sti engine? (what would be the implications of that, gbox, ecu etc?) do i buy a 2.5 bottom end? does these go straight on? i really dnt know where to start and if i'm honest i loathe to spend any money on it as it seems ive spent more fixing it (turbo's, headgasket) than i have modifying it, and i've not skimped on the mods. is 2k going to be anywhere near enough to have my baby back running again? i guess tbh that i want to gain something out of this mess so would be looking to improve on my stable of horses in the process without breaking the bank.

same happened with my teins. rear driver side. as for taking a pic of a pot hole, i went down the road when i buckled one of my OZ Hydras. the councils response was as i had not alerted them to the hole who did they know it wss there to be fixed. though i have heard of people geetin full new sets of alloys though never met one lol
-
so is that the right offset then? does that not mean they will rub on mine? i'm running pretty low on Teins! are the tyres worn with the rubbing?
-
hmmm, they're different. do not know if they are for me but i do like individuality
-
that is a lovely pic indeed. yes it was your spoiler i was talking about, so if you bonded it on using (sikaflex, tiger seal etc) it should stay put? dnt knw if any of you are similar, its just when i look in my rear view there is quite a degree of movement on my sti wing too so i can only imagine the forces acting upon it
-
cheers guys just didnt fancy drilling holes etc on my own
-
anyone retro fitted these using an adhesive rather than bolting it on. would tiger seal secure it enough as i dnt want to lose yet more body parts cheers
-
great choice dude. what did you wrap them in? if i asked nicely could you pm me the name of the sellers name on ebay you purchased these from
-
i have the HKS one, i love it. different whoosh an fpmshh differnt speeds etc. i got mine off ebay brand new for around 150 i think. its very simple to fit however i had to turn an aluminum 'bung' in work for the big pipe i think attaches to the turbo. (someone will probably help explain for me the correct term) the kit did not come with one but i am sure you could purchse them on ebay for a couple a quid. if you do not use a bung i believe it affects performance and your dash to light up.
-
definately with!
-
get it lowered lol, nice wheels, nice colour ,nice car
-
that obviously with some decent rubber. just seen the prices for the asanti's lol think i'll just keep checking ebay
-
