maybe its just me but the lights in my new age feel like candles in a tin can compared to my xenons in my last car. anyone recommend some uprated bulbs. looking do to them all. dont want it looking like the wee neds with their blue bulbs, but pure white , obviously the brighter the better and in that sense not really bothered if they are legal.

its a canter fitted mine the other day when i was up rating the fuel pump. little fidgetty didnt think it was gona fit at first but, it really is simple

OBD CEL light came on today on my 52 plate wrx. my heart absolutely sank then i realised its prob cause of my recent visit to meercat. has anyone else with a decat system got this light coming on. if so, is there a fix. how do i turn it off as i feel like ive broke my baby lol. oh and do you reckon thats what it is? and if so, does that mean it will be over fueling as my mpg sucks lol

your all showing your age guys, i take it the average age must be 30's. does that mean i am wee ned as i am 22 with a black wrx big spoiler n blacked out windows...........in fact dont answer lol

Heads Up >> Trip To The Nurburgring 2008 ?
buffalo replied to ~ ~ Cal ~~'s topic in Scottish Scoobies
banned by the missus by any chance lol -
doing a bit of research seem sthe 99-00 cars are renowned for their mafs going. reason i asked bout the induction kit is that slight oil in the kits to keep out the guff can burn out the sensor
-
on the heat wrap.....it stinks. not saying its not a performance mod as it does its job its just that mine is still smoking and it absolutely stinks, my g/f neice (six) commented on it sayin she doesnt lik emy car now cause of the smell lol though am sure it'll will dissappear after time. i was an additional £20 to get it done for the record
-
do you guys run induction kits? is this the reason they packed in
-
surprisingly no it does not pop and bang. thought it would myself

not long back from meercat. got a full 3" snake head system fill a 5 1/4" dragger back box. it sounds the absolute berries. panicked though as en route home white smoke started pouring out the scoop, feared the worse but it turned out to be the heatwrap as it was damp lol. got home however n had a dirty big screw in my tyre, gutted . this had no chance of erasing the smile off my face though great zaust great service great sound dump valve getting fitted when the rain stops and a fone call to andy when he gets back

so is it only 'wee neds' that race then? i think not. i presume however you are talking about the saxo/106 crew etc. i feel there is a simple answer and its been said already n thats to ignore them. however am sure you didnt buy you scoob to pootle at 2000 rpm everywhere. i agree with iainc in the sense that in my 182 i drove on the redline everytime a was out and constantly looked for someone to push or 'test' and if am honest there were plenty who took the bait. however now my driving has calmed dramatically though this may be an age thing as am gettin old now (22 lol)

What Look's Better, Origional - Or Bad As White?
buffalo replied to rallyfever's topic in Scottish Scoobies
honestly......i think they both suck. stick with gold but not the standard ones. or you could be original and lead the pack with the white. go for what yoy thinks right -
probably a really stupid question but how do you get a pic in your avatar? tried to put one in but it was too big? how would i size it accordingly? is there a program or something similar
-
omg both pics are stunning. i'd love to have a video in the position of 4heros camera. however mobile fone camera is about the limit of my photographic excellence lol
-

reckon i get around 220 to my last tank whcih was my first one, and i rarely took it it over 3k. filled up on sunday and have used a 1/4 already, rest the the clock so we'll find out exaclty soon. not complaining as i was around the same in my 182. the only difference in the clio was my foot only had three settings, parked, traffic lights and go............lol
-
great pics, would love to have been there. whats the score was this a open day or a SIOC track day? whats the driving like is there scope to just pootle around it like a sleepy grandad on a sunday or are you expected to boot it. would like to go without ending up an ornament in a gravel trep
-
good good. 3 days seems fair enough tho my tyre profile would be o/w/l i think a few folk on here might struggle with that. all the best with the business, sure you'll get sum custom from here

previously owning a 182 i was 2 front tyres nearly every 3 months tho i did drive like i was possesed. i live in the polo mint city so round abouts all day are fun but not on your tyres. different tyres front and back will only make a difference if they are of inferior quality. i cannot fault eagle f1 gsd3. they proxy r are good all rounders wet/dry i would stay away from s's. conti sport contact 2's were on my pug and that thing was on rails. in my 5 years of driving 106,182, wrx (only listed the good cars lol) i would say all of the above mentioned tyres are great but would never push any of them in the wet. wouldnt push any tyre in the wet, got a set of maximus or summit cack like that (new alloys came with them i think, only owned it week) on the scoob the now and it handles like a baby elephant on ice in the wet. 4wheel drifting need sum gettin used to lol
