was at s&s on friday and the girl behind the desk said the impreza's sales were starting to pick up pretty well. they've got 270 in silver and it does look good. owning a wrx and not an sti my points may be invalid but i'd go for it. depending on how long you've had it. if you had it for 18months to 2 years then you've had it, you got the nice pic etc if you kno what i mean. time to move on. its cheaper its new and its limited. however its a personal opinion. whatever you do hope it works out ooh as for the privacy glass i think it look gash if the front isnt done (as is standard now) and a full 'legal' window tint incl application will set you back around £170 so its not that much of a bargining point (my opinion) as it would probably cost you around 60 - 80 notes to tint the front two windows. however again this is personal and you may prefer just the bak tinted (wee niggle that gets me how come they call it privacy glass when by law they only allow the bak to be tinted and your blind gran could see through it anyway)

my car sailed through its 5 year service today so its booked in to meercat nxt sat for a full decat system. i have asked for a full 3" snake head system with heat wrap and 5 1/4" tail pipe. my question is, what size bore for the centre section? i was going to get a 3" full system with 2.5" flange for posible retro fitting of the the oem cat for mot purposes at the centre section. however i was pondering whether a 3" full system would be detemental to the flow of exhaust and low end torque of the engine? i hoping the answer is no and i can get the 3" system. any views on this or opinions on the exhaust. oh if it matters i plan to get Dr F'd in the near future as dont want to run nf indefinately. on the subject of NF is it really neccesary to run NF and v power on a new age wrx due to having the full decat system? i was told to do this due to possible detonation?

hey wondering if any of you have done this, am sure some have. want to take out the stock double din headunit and split the remaining space into two single din units one for gauges and the other a stereo. anyone know what i'd need or how to go about it

i am presuming it was the sti variant that left you standing as i never had a problem dispatching wrx's in my 182 and the only civic type r that passed me was supercharged. thats sum impressive quotes on your insurance, i had a bit of trouble with insurance that why i opted for the wrx over the sti though exhaust and a map will hopefully be on by the end of the year. if i were you i'd buy an sti as its got around 40 brake over the wrx with plenty of tuning potential and in my opinion killer style. good luck with the sale too, i tried for a bit but in the end traded in. bad time of year. hope you get the car you want

me and a few mates were talking about going around that time but dont know if it will come to fruition so i'll keep my eye on this one as i defo wan to go

yeah i could get the de cat fitted myself just heard that when you do it they run lean till you get it mapped. its got a magnex cat bak on it just now, its the 6x4 oval so i like it because you dnt see many scoobs with that style of exhaust. so dont't know wether to keep it and jsut add the decat section ie the two from after the turbo. or purchase an other one like a blitz. for the dump valve, its my first turbo so the little boy in me wants it to go whoosh lol was goin to buy the blitz ssqv bov from the states and take advantage of the good exchange rate

so will an aftermarket filter be just as good as an induction kit? ive been told to stay away from blitz ones as they'll let everthing but a bus through the filter lol

yeah i heard he's good, if not the best, know someone who had there P1 done by him.

yeah i understand its about 10% you lose through the 4wd. tbh a would like around 300bhp wether that be with the mods suggested or extra. just feel the car thrives more power obviously due to the size of it plus the awd

lol came from a renault sport 182, not sayin it was a better car but it was like a go kart you could throw it at anything and it would come out the other end unscathed passed a few wrx in my time thats why i'm looking for gains in brake. its definately a step up tho in terms of maturity in my opinion plus 4 door etc

hey just bought a blob eye wrx had it two days but doesnt give me that oomph factor a had with my old car so looking to spend some money to add some extra BHP. looking for advice and info on where to go any what to buy what gains could i expect from a full s/s decat system (nur type r) fuel pump and map? will fitting the sti scoop help help my wrx intercooler etc cheers in advance

hey new to the forum, looking to buy a impreza wrx. seen one in turriff aberdeen, sunnyhill motors. just wondered if it used too belong to anyone on here and if there is anything i should know about it. also what should a be looking out for in buying this vehicle, as i dont really know anything. its a 52 plate blob eye black wrx with sti spoiler and done 37 k any help or info much appreciated
