  1. Coming big chap. Having a small software issue which should be rectified soon
  2. Possibly a gunked up coolant strip located in the idle control valve
  3. Mapping a Scoob is different from mapping any other Jap engine If you are willing to let this unnamed mapper learn how to map a scoob on your car then best of luck to you
  4. Personally i think it would be an excellent oppertunity to show the Evo boys some proper power
  5. Boost controller set to Zero will still make wastegate pressure of 0.5bar. Just keep the throttle light. Unknown as to dealer availabilty of Knock sensors
  6. I would not class it as common but i have heard of them failing. If you drive it to Andy, drive it on light throttle and NO boost at all Try and source a Knock Sensor from dealer or breaker before you go to see Andy. Supplementry question? Where did you get fuel from last and when?
  7. Might be as it says Faulty Knock Sensor or it could have registered a massive knock reading and triggered the CEL Andy will be able to tell when he plugs in his laptop
  8. Chortle When u were asking for anyone to help i was typing out help Now head out and find thoise black connectors and tell us what code is stored Yes the solenoid can be cleaned but find out what code is stored and we can take the repair procedure from there
  9. Since the CEL has lit then a code of the fault will be stored in the ECU Under the dash is 2 black connectors, plug them together and turn the ign on but do not start the engine. The CEL will blink out a code 2 long flashes and 3 short flashes would be a code 23......................MAF sensor fault Do this procedure and tell us what the code is and we can start to clear the fault for you. Initial suspect will be the Boost Control Solenoid but the ECU will point you in the right direction
  10. Click here to watch boot-trip-52 Due to unforeseen circumstances i had an unusual trip home. Proper track video coming tomorrow inc some on track Falcon action and maybe the Falcon getting smoked by a Lime Green 307
  11. Watch the video on this link http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/771556/ShowPost.aspx The Falcon is the last one
  12. Happy Birthday boss []
  13. Is the sky blue, the grass green and is the pope the leader of the catholic community
  14. Depends what kind of protien you want to pump into me you dirty man
  15. I will have the Steak Pie
  16. Like the guy in the Monty Python film "Im stuffed" Tomorrow night will be 6 out of 7 for me and my belly is getting bigger by the week, this is satisfactory progress. Give it a couple of weeks i will be as fat as all three of the three amigos put together in one sandwich. At one point i was down to 9 stone 2 but now pushing a healthy 11 stone 6 so now i am only 3 stone under weight as opposed to 5 stone under weight. All those extra poundage is down to the Kwang Tung resteraunt in Paisley.
  17. Bang goes my get the helmet for £500 theory. Gonna be a proper rich nutter that pays that amount for it, so expect ANDYJDMSTI to be winning the auction sometime soon or Fai17 buying it for the resteraunt
  18. My 555 car versus your Terzo Toot toot ..........byeeeeeeee I did get a wee fright as i thought my back doors were still open, then i saw your smiling face staring back
  19. My advice would be buy an import and not a UK model Just dont buy an import from a dodgy garage, list of dodgy garages available by PM Make sure it does not sound like a diesel or smoke like a beagle in a cgae is the starting point Do a lot of research, get someone knowledgable local to Montrose to have a look at some prospective cars, then do the AA/RAC inspection. Avoid cars that have been deresricted if you do choose an import
  20. Something a bit special eh!!!! Getting the alloys done in Tartan, now thats special.
  21. If some light fingered inbred twerp had not stolen my spare set then you could have used them but as i stated that if they had not been stolen then they would have fitted over your brakes. I have my suspect in mind as they did not touch the £250 Flymo or the 4 Freelander alloys and tyres, just the Subaru/Advan wheels
  22. The std one on it is sufficient unless you want the noise that will accompany a Vent to Atmosphere dump valve
  23. Larger rear hub on the Type R Need bearing specific for a Type R
  24. So where do the Oakley's now reside? Very nice install indeed.
  25. As an upgrade for a 99 car then it be a New Age WRX intercooler or better still a STI intercooler from a New Age car
