I touch goats as requested. The "Rodent" -
Spooks head for Braehead and i will meet you there. Then a wee convoy over the Erskine Bridge would prevent any sat-nav error issues. Any one else care to meet at Ikea prior to travelling up to Duntocher then i will be at Ikea @ Braehead between 6pm and 7pm. Grant

the squiggle replied to dave_morgan's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Not to bad with the old lawn mower engined mobile, nailed a few trophies when i was younger. Plus i have a damn good power to weight ratio When do you require the funds? 1 kart_man 2 Spooks 3 TheSquirrel555 I will ask Imy if she is up for it if Scott will ask Rosie. We could hold the inaugrel single engined kart [ with bumpers ] ladies Scottish SIDC 5 min endurance race. Grant -

If you can hold on for a week i will take the Lambada senorita. If someone else takes it fair enough but if it still there than i will take it off your hands. I thiink the Anti-lag has fried the new one i bought, so a spare would be useful. Grant -
Come down to Glasgow for a wee chat and meet Grant

<< Dougster, I heard the rally team didn't use wagons because they were too frightened of the extra speed.... OK next question.... Where is the best place to get a TD05? Anyone up this neck of the woods? I have a couple of ECU's (Incl 1 with the scooby piggyback) How much of a pain is it to fit one? Cheers, Ian >> AndyF or Ebay I will concede that the fastest Scooby in the world over the quarter mile is a Wagon. Grant
-
Absolute bullsh*t that wagons are faster. Not to mention UK cars that weigh 5 tons without the gangsta alloys. Grant
-
Not to contentious this thread so i reckon i can safely reply. 95 Wagon WRX is fitted with a different turbo than the 95 WRX saloon. Saloon is a TD05 turbo and the wagon is the smaller TD04 turbo hence the diffrent power output. The block and heads are identical on both wagon and saloon, it was only the ECU and the turbo which were different. Std power on the WRX wagon is about 220bhp and the WRX saloon was 260bhp A damn good idea for you is to source a TD05 turbo and the ECU from a 93 - 96 WRX saloon. U8 ECU is fitted to the 93 - 94 import saloons, power wise about 240 with cat in place Z4 ECU is fitted to the 95 - 96 import saloons, power wise about 260 with cat in place Removing the cat will free up anything between 0 and 40 bhp. Hope this helps Grant [way to hide in my hole]

There is a program out there somewhere called Power Bidder* that puts the bid in at the last poss second. Been beat a few times for some nice stuff and it is damn frustrating. * i think it is called this but might be wrong, there was a thread on SN about it. Grant
