Mad March One (Sunday 27th March) FINAL LIST
the squiggle replied to wrxmania's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Coulster, the guys on the run will generally sort themselves out regarding who wants a spirited run and who wants to drive like Miss Daisy. With me also being on 9 points, i will be joining the Miss Daisy brigade and not up the front with the mentally unhinged. Beastie, the run will be entirely contained on Scottish soil Cal, Had me worried there for a mo, i thought i would need another camara man for the day Grant -
Damn fine show Rosie with the idea for the donations going to Santa Cruise. Cheers for a top, well organised day Scott. As for that nutter, above me, quest for more power........................................OI NO U HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ALL OF US Happy bunny Grant

Mad March One (Sunday 27th March) FINAL LIST

<< Not long to go now Can someone help a southerner with directions which route is it to the starting point ? M8 ? Junction ? or do i just ambush you all as you are heading south !!!!! >> My good lord ......best for you to ambush us while on route. Dont want you to drive an unneccecery 60 miles of tedious Motorway. A damn fine ambush point would be the services at Abington on the M74. I will PM you my mobile number closer to the time. Grant -
Go on the bu**er off then ya wee trumped up home guard. OOOOOOHHHH Mr Mannering, i never knew you piloted the Millenium Falcon Grant

387 horsepower on 380's..... The car will run and you could use a MBC, like a Dawes to control the boost. To get the most from fitting the larger turbo a remap of the ECU is what i would advise but in answer to your original question. Yes the car will run ok if you fit the TD05 but the car will be happier with a remap. Grant

SIDC GT4 Challenge :- Spec C Ring Attack

<< 8.27 for me so far - mus do better I cant see an option on the tyres though ? Are you in arcade mode or am i blind >> Just before you start the race, goto "QuickTune" and select tyre type [halfway down the list] If you fit Simulation tyres the times round the Ring are within 1 sec of thier real life counterparts. Grant -
Anything as major as a changing the type of turbo would defo require a remap to get the most from fitting the different type of turbo. Different turbos have different spool up rates. A TD04 will spool faster than the larger TD05 but the TD05 will flow a lot more air. An ECU remap will alter the wastegate duty cycle for the larger turbo and in general make the engine run a lot happier on the larger turbo Grant

I prefer guru to saddo personally....Cheers Cal....Up yours Drb5................deliberate no smiley Dave get those S series tyres off now boyo and try it like it is intended. Best time round the Ring with SIMULATION tyres, no driving aids and manual gears is 8.03.010 Best time round the Ring with RACING tyres, no driving aids and manual gears is 7.46.244 Racing tyres was a first lap job, give me some time and i will improve that time Herr Squirrel -
Words right out my mouth......Do they have Scart sockets? I can collect in the works van> Grant

SIDC GT4 Challenge :- Spec C Ring Attack
the squiggle replied to ~ ~ Cal ~~'s topic in Scottish Scoobies
You must also use simulation tyres, N1 are economy N2 are midrange and N3 are top end E.G N1 would be Colway remoulds, N2 would be Toyo's and N3 would be Yokohama's My favourite is N3 on the front and N2 on the back. The S series of tyres are unrealistic in terms of grip. Spec C round the Ring with any driving aids and simulation tyres. Game on My set up is no driving aids what so ever and manual gears with N3 on the front and N2 on the back Time ......... to be added whren i finish a lap Grant -

Quality cars to try are Renault 5 Turbo 2............fit the biggest turbo and a LSD for some arse out action V2 STI( RED of course ) .................. cause it is my car, enough said Lancia Stratos ..... for the noise Any RUF.... to scare yourself senseless If you buy an adjustable diff you can change the cars to uk spec by changing the final drive ratio to 3.6 and add weight. Sorry Dougster i dont think the Japs understand the concept of MASSIVE cast iron alloys.......... Grant -

You big dirty lyeing bar steward. Twas not me doing the rear ending, i would try and pass you while you were bouncing of the Armco only for you to come shooting across the track and smash me into next week. Dont worry big man, i wont mention the fact you are a gay blade automatic driver or the fact that you caused over 30 grands worth of damage using the barriers as a steering aid. Next time i play you i will dig out my mans pipe and slippers to make you feel a tad more comfartable. M5 against M3 Race car drag race was quality but i knew i would win in the end as there was a corner coming up. Grant -
That would be the Showcase in Coatbridge not the one in Linwood. Grant
-
No probs .... I will burst the ECU open later on to see what is in the spare socket Cheers for posting up .... my MSN was going nuts by the time i got settled back in front of the PC. To let the peeps know that were trying to message me last night about the alloys that i was out last night in the road curing a sick Scoob and i was not ignoring you. Grant AKA Early WRX fixer
-
Nasty........ but a good point about no PC access in Bar-L Grant
-
You can never have too many alloys and tyres. Cheers Boabster and nice looking brief esp with the 18's 1 ice cold Guinness will be served at the next meet or the karting day Grant AKA David Dickinson..............Bargain Hunter

Aye, i will take your old tyres off you for roundabout practice. Motorsport wheels in Cambuslang are the distributers for Toyo in Scotland but the are trade only, so a wee white lie may have to occur to obtain them. The price they charge for Toyo's makes it worth the hassle Grant
-
Christ you got home quickly Another early WRX sorted by TheSquirrel555. Grant

Sitting here with the company van revved up and raring to go. Kartman has first shout then i am good to go over crest if the nod is given. Grant
