There is a bit about 30 secs in to the video when you see the onbaord footage from Rovenpera's car, who was first on the scene after the accident. You can see Markko Martin sitting at the side of the road and then running towards Rovenpera's car, then turning round and running towards the car. The poor guy must have been traumatised to the extreme.. R.I.P Beef Grant

<< You were a bit slow round the corners in the wet though as I could catch you quite nicely round the back end of the circuit. What good is power without control? >> I have sh*tty std 2 pots on the front with Avon ZZ1's, tyres which could not even supply enough grip in the rain to turn over the engine. Todays exercise was to mainly keep it nice , smooth and on the great stuff with lashings of Creamed Rice and oversteer at the hairpin. When it dried up a bit and a good line appeared then it was all systems go for DHL delivery driver mode Control is nothing without power Grant

Welcome Nowt wrong with the Sport, at least it has the abilty to drive past a Shell station Grant P.S Dont mention you are single too often as it has an unusual effect on the testosterone levels in here -
<< Grant, my passenger and I were both highly amused by your car pointing in all sorts of incorrect directions out of the hairpin. Probably not good to laugh as mine was understeering away. You were a bit slow round the corners in the wet though as I could catch you quite nicely round the back end of the circuit. What good is power without control? >> Stephen, those incorrect directions were completely intended to the point of doddling round the whole lap just to nail it out the hairpin Along the back straight, brake gently before the slip road, pull it wide left, complete 99% of braking in straight line, tip in point at cone, apply steering input, get vague rsponse, light throttle, LOTS of understeer, apply left foot to brake, still lots of understeer, last resort was to nail it and let the AWD sort it out, lots of understeer now translates into lots of oversteer with the driver screaming like a 2 year old.......YYYYEEEEEHHHHHHAAAAA Grant

Had a good day today even though i never had the intention of going on track when i left the house this morning Absoloutly loved it in the wet coming out of the hairpin in a McRae style and going into Clarks sideways on a trailing throttle, more tea vicar Good to put some more names to faces Cheers to the Wheels Around guy for the emergency spanner and screwdriver use to repair intercooler pipe and cheers to Dipsy, Andy and Pete for the use of some physical wait DOES ANYONE HAVE A PICTURE OF RED WRX STI EXITING THE HAIRPIN IN THE WET PLEASE Only had one session in the dry with Chan and it was good nailing some lines safe in the knowledge it was not gonna break away suddenly. Apologies to all the peeps that opted for a pax lap in my car for screaming like a 2 year old every time it lit up its wheels coming out the hairpin. Most skillfull was going through the chicane in the dry sideways with a TVR up my backside but my personal highlight was every exit from the hairpin giving it a load of opposite lock and welly at the same time. Roll on the next on Grant

One brand new, well switched on to check it was the proper firmware version, Sony PSP. It is the Japanese version but all the menus are in English It is the much sought after Firmware version 1.50 which can play all the Megadrive and Super Nintendo Emulators as well as PSP games that are stored on the memory card. A feature that the UK versions can not do due to the UK machine being a Firmware 2.0. The region code for the movies is Region 2 but if you go on Ebay you can get 40+ movies pre converted to run on the PSP for 10 earth pounds. You can also buy 30+ full PSP games off Ebay to run off the memory card for £30 It comes with the std 32mb memory stick but would need a 1gb memory to take full advantage of its capabilities. I paid £185 to get it here from the land of the rising sun so offers in that region would be accepted As rare as Squirrels teeth in the shops and i am only asking £6 more than shop price

In the interests of fairness we must consider the South East area. This is the only area that has not been visited by the convoy in the last 4 runs. So far we have had the Loch Lomand area up to Inverary. The next one took us south to Moffat via Thornhill and finished of at Lanark area. The March run took us down to Newton Stewart and finished at Castle Douglas. The best one so far was the blat over the Lecht to the Glenfiddoch Distilliery. So the only to areas left that have not had a visitation from the convoy are north of Inverness {severe lack of Optimax } and south east of Edinburgh. Just my £92.86's worth Grant
