You know I would be very wary of buying bolts for your brakes off Fleabay, as I've heard more than a few times, people purchasing saftey critical items such as Spacers and bolts from Ebay, and the ensuing accidents often is surprising that people were not killed...
Personally something like that, I'd just bite the bullet and Buy the right bolts in the first place... it could be cheaper in the long run...

Jon, just buy her a new handbag or a pair of shoes, put them in the car just before the off and that will be her concentration out the window mate!!

All because she is so worth it & you love her to bits........... job done
I'm brave but that would be suicide!

Hope the link works. One of the lads at my work has his heart set on a P1. He's seen this car in Elgin and been to view it. It looks quite tidy, but he's concerned (And rightly so) that there is no Ident Plate for which No of p1 it is.
Just wary that it could be a Type R, tarted up to look like a P1.
I've told him to post on P1OC, which I think he has done, but i said i'd ask for him on here as well.
The service book is full of Brian Downie stamps, so could well be an Aberdeen/shire car.
Al
May be worth a call to Brian Downie and ask him about it?

IF I'm lucky enough to make it, I might not have any choice but to do the whole thing in a day... Have to wait and see how that goes...
Dale, if you are doing it in a "1er" give me a shout and if i'm at home i may do the same.

Lol they will do. Whats the running cost of them a few wife beaters and a couple packets of pork scratchings a mile
Aye, that would do it. Mind you the big boy is partial to a Deer Hound or two as my daughter found out last week while walking him! Thank god the Deer Hound is owned by friends of ours who were very understanding! The two of them (dogs) have hated each other ever since they first met for some reason? No blood spilled so that was a relief!

Geese v Rottweillers - my money is on the birds - the big Rottie is terrified of feathers!!!!

Thanks guys and sorry for the late reply - just back fae ma hols. Spent a week on an Indian reservation in South Dakota (3rd year i've done this) so wasn't allowed to drink on the res! Not to be outdone i drove over the state border every night so the wife and I could partake of a wee shandy or two! Went to the American Legion one night and got hammered - god knows how i drove back to our digs!!! Then drove up to a place called Rapid City and spen a few nights there - got hammered again and got another fcukin tattoo - the deamon drink strikes again - at my age i should know better...........

it was reported to the police as it the second attempt on this car and my last car was stolen but yeah i think the police have got bigger fish to fry. They were ment to be coming around for a visit but have failed to show. The security is working hence they didn't go into the car but still leaves me wit damage to sort
Would anyone know where i could buy 4 rottweilers that have been brought up on human blood that can sit around my car
I dont have 4 but you can borrow these 2 if you like? The little one is a vicious wee barsteward if you try to steal her biscuits and the big boy is partial to a pint of wife beater!!
-
both get my vote!
but at £50 each i think i'll hae to stick with my original plan - a couple of spars fae a HB Fash Kipper box and some no more nails!
