  1. I can't fault Nobles myself, Had a similar issue with shocks on the wife's 03 sti. Nobles replaced the rear shocks and I also put a claim in for 4 new alloys as the 4 on the car had started to bubble. New shocks and wheels....nice... Been taking the car there ever since.
  2. Shell Helix (Fully Syn). Dipstick nice and shiney. G
  3. Just been checking out the Diamond website, the scoob belongs to the wife so the quote was in her name, details etc. Diamond only insure women drivers. Cheaper insurance for women!!!!
  4. Thanks for the quick replies guys, Just tried the moneysupermarket.com and got an unbelievable quote: Edin postcode Garaged No Mods (not sure if Meerkat backbox and front splitter should be declared) £271.00
  5. Hello all, Just received our annual insurance renewal quote. The quote from Tesco for fully comp (no more than 6k miles per annum) £ 454.00 . I realise other owners will be paying more and some alot more, however does anyone recon it can be beaten? Owner is in their late 30's..... Gjlatz

  13. I'm looking to change the mudflaps on the scoob (lost one on the A1). Had a look around the web and wondering if anyone can comment on the Scoobyworld mudflaps? We live in the Edinburgh area and not sure if there's a local retailer instead of the web (felt Nobles at Penicuik were a bit expensive....). G
  14. Just been having a wee look around the web and have come across a few sites mentioning the Impreza STI Diesel 200 horse...... apparently arriving in 2009. 45 mpg. Anyone else heard of this and any performance data? The diesel version of the Impreza WRX STI will have a fuel economy of around 45mpg. The powerplant weighs no more than the current version, and would also help slash the STI’s emissions by nearly 40 per cent, from the petrol’s 243g/km to about 155g/km. G
  15. Thanks for the reply mate. WD'ing tomorrow. G
  16. Hello all, After washing, checking levels etc took the scoob out for a run (03 MY). Luckily I was only doing 40mph (warming up) when the bonnet sprung to the 2nd catch. Could have been dangerous at speed. Anyone else experienced this with this model ? I always let the bonnet drop down to close and it's always been fine..... Only difference this time was that the bonnet was up for a couple of hours because I was giving the battery a trickle charge.... G
  17. Thanks for the heads up mate. G
  18. Thanks for the replies guys, I'll be changing my ways this weekend. g
