  1. Well some of you know what im like when it comes to cleaning my car. A all round clean aweek before a show, another clean day before the show, and then another clean when we arrive at the show lol. Well As i use a rotory mop/buffer for my daily job to buff up laqure, I decided to "Mop/Buffer" my whole car yesterday afternoon. Well Ill let the crap picture quaility of the pics speak for them self's! lol. I feel me spending a couple of tenners on ding/dent master to get out acouple of door dings for me. But apart from that what do you think of the pics? Regards Monki.
  2. Couple more pics of ScoobyProjects and Keiths new front bumper spray job! Big thanks to Keith for allowing me to use his workshop, when he could have told me to work outside in the cold and for badgering you through out the day with technical advice for scoobys lol. Regards Ben.

  7. Hi all hope everyones had a good weekend?
  8. Happy Birthday Ed ye old man!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have a great day!
  9. Hi Rick. Sorry for late reply, The amount I charge is all dependant on the paint damage to the bumper. If I have to respray the whole bumper then it will be around the £200 mark. But that will be a all day job, sanding back all the stone chips, repriming the bumper and then respraying the colour coat. After that its then the Laqure which gives the end result. Im not sure how much bodyshops charge but I charge on what I feel is fair price for time labour and materials. Hope it helps bud. Regards Ben.
  10. HI all, I was invited to Scoobyprojects to carry out some work on this gorgeous P1. Hears the piccies. And heres the results of the finished front bumper refirbishment. Please excuse the quality of pics as they was taken on my camera phone!. While I was down there I was very impressed with the new set up that Keith has and he certainly knows his mustured after having a lengthly chat about car modding. Also I noticed another sexy P1 on the ramps looking pukka! Oh and I bought some gauges from Keith which once wired in I can now see when I can "Offically" boot it lol. They look pukka! I can see me buying something from ScoobyProjects everytime I visit. Regards Monki.
  11. Look forward to seeing the pictures Ill have a new product soon called bumper guard. Its a very think clear coat which is rubbery and hence repells stone chips and can be sprayed to any area not masked up. Soon as I got it, Ill be markiting it to any one who wants to keep there bonnets, bumpers and splitters in pristein condition!
  12. Hi Ben yeh I got your Pm, And I replyed iirc? I was hoping to catch a picture of your front end on this thread but Ill have agander over on FB and see your car on there

  14. Yes my mums on the wrong tax code, as the company she works for is owned bya larger corperation, which because the larger corperation has changed its name, its put people at the company my mum works for on the wrong taz code. Diabolical isnt it!
  15. Yeh subbaru paint is thin, my bumper was peppered but it had been resprayed before so it was just down to the base coat/ primer.
  16. To be honest my IR heat lamps are good for baking off laqure as well as seeing how well the paint and laqure has settled on the said panel, even in poor lighting but not recommended lol. Oh Ed I could do your Bonnet, BUT and this is a big big but. Bonnets are brilliant for showing any and all imprefections to the eye, even someone with poor sight like you old man This is due to the angle you look at the bonnet. (usally a 30degree angle, which is also the angle you look down the side of a car to see any imperfections) For a few stone chips on the bonnet. Ill be looking at respraying the immediate area with the 3 cover coats of paint, but then its the drop coat which blends the new paint to the old colour. Which on a bonnet if not blended properly (And i am convident i can) you will see immediatly due to the angle. The same goes for the laqure. If not applyed correctly, and fade out used properly and the fadeout lines not buffed up using the mop. Any imperfections on that bonnet will be seen. So I would say I would take on bonnet damage but I will clearly say to you ill doo my absolute best to correct the imperfections. As bonnets need a bit more care to correct with out respraying the entire bonnet. Kinda Regards Ben.
  17. As per conversation Ill look in my dairy for a day to pop up to see you Scooby Projects or when its convenient for your self. I look forward to meeting you.
