  1. Hmnn... Going for a stab in the dark here.. Was gonna say Engine from a Porsche Carrera GT.. But I'll change that to say: V10 from a F1 car. One of Michael Schumachers V10's Ferrari's from last year?
  2. That sounds promising.. thanks! Sure I have the prodrive settings stored somewhere.. Will have to dig them out again.. (mind you they probably come with the springs)
  3. Poop! Would you recommend that place in macduff? Not too far to travel from where I am....
  4. LOL! Was up there one saturday unannounced looking for a exhaust gasket... Didn't try and sell me anythign but gave me a gasket off an evo for nout! And some vinyl genbugie sticker for my car... Hope he wont be too disappointed if I didn't stick them on.. [:$] Maybe for the Speyside Stages weekend.. Bit of free advertising.. I'll maybe give them a call closer the time see what the story is.. Hmmm... Nice set of WRX bucket seats would be nice if he has any..... .. . o O (No! Spent enough money already)
  5. glenburgie is certainly closer than abz.. Was getting worried about having to drive 60 miles to get it done. Not good for the tyres... Didn't realise they have the facilities for the alignment... I'm sure someone mentioned GT-Tyres to me at one point.. can't remember who that was though.. [*-)]
  6. Ello, I'm due to pick up some Prodrive springs for my WRX in a couple of weeks.. WIll be fitting them myself but I need to know where the best place to get the geometry done after they are fitted and how much it's liekly to cost. Clearly I dont want to travel too far with the wheels pointing in all the wrong directions. So can anyone suggest a good place to get the Geometry done near Elgin? Would be nice to get the GroupN/Fast Road settings put on instead of Prodrive but I'll be happy with either.. Thanks in advance,
  7. Great work Del! Some nice close up photos there [Y][Y][Y]
  8. D'oh! Sorry for the confusion. As far as I am aware there have been two versions of a prodrive spoiler for newages. First one being the one they stuck on the back of the UK300's And the other, latest one, is stuck on the back of young-buck27's car. Wouldn't mind one myself now but their a bit pricey..
  9. First saw that new prodrive spoiler the other day when looking at whether or not to replace my standard low WRX spoiler. My first impressions then were EugH!! Kindof a weird handle on the back which is trying to imitate the WRC spec wing. Didn't like it one bit.. But this! This works.. God knows how but that really suits that car! Only thing is.. wasn't the Spec-D Supposed to be the low profile Sti? With little or no body kit [*-)] That's a thumbs up from me too! [Y]
  10. I wave to just about every scooby I see just incase.. Sadly up here in Moray hardly any respond [:'(] Got a better response when I was up in Inverness a few weeks ago [Y]
  11. I've been seeing around 250-275 on a 01 WRX with prodrive BB and green panel filter running on V-Power. Just got the 3rd cat removed last weekend so I'll see how that affects economy..
  12. [:'(] Starting to look like it: http://www.karate1.com/alphabet/alphabet2.htm Not that I claim everything on the internet is true..[^o)] Have to say it is a really nice touch to the car!
  13. That looks Sweeeeeet!!! Can't wait to see it in the flesh once the new shoes arrive!! Was considering a high spoiler for my WRX but so far decided it'd be too big [] So looking into a set of Prodrive springs instead []
  14. Really? I see SIDC logo sticker but no item for forum username stickers. Unless I'm just blind.. [H] Oops! just noticed oobster's post.. Lousy time delay..
  15. Thanks.. That's a little cheaper than I expected... Woohoo!
  16. Just out of curiosity, how much do they charge for a remap? Thinking about getting my WRX done in the next few months and have it loaded with dual-map, just tryign to get and idea of costs. Thanks,
  17. Yeow! that's nasty! Just for the sake of comparison, I did mine online the other day £205 for 2001 bugeye WRX..
  18. Ha haa! right enough... Thought I recognised the car, but wasn't sure... Yep that'll be the weekly fill for me at the moment *sigh* Nice to see Keith is about 7p cheaper than Elgin for V-Power! . o O (Guess that's my 5 mins of fame over and done with...) Anyone else? I came across a white classic coming out of westhill in aberdeen! No idea of plates...
  19. He hee... yeah.,.. But the BMW (or was it a merc) kindly pulled into the side for me [] Was down abz->ballater way last weekend on a run with a mate and his MR2 great couple of weekends.. (shame about the necessary fuel-stops on the way home [:'(])
  20. LOL yep that was me.. [] On my way back from wallace performance in ABZ.. Took the scenic route back via cockbridge/tomintoul road..
  21. Heh me too.. Would have prefereed a late classic but the interior wasn't quite as nice for everday living as the new ages. And today the bugeye doesn't look so bad on the outside. Few bits of makeup and you dont notice the eyes so much [] Still prefer classic design.. After it it made the impreza what it is today. Can never forget that.
  22. Ok.. No saloon and no WRX for the UK! talk about cutting out one of your major customers!!! So it's either cheapo or full STi.. the WRX filled the gap nicely!! The news is just getting better and better.. [+o(]
  23. Me too strangely.. Better looking than the hatch. But perhaps too much honda accord? Would still rather have a hawkeye at the moment though...
  24. Nice shots there Del! Looking forward to the Granite City with the Super Special! WooHooO!!
  25. Few more images here: http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?se...article_id=5096 These look more real than previous ones so quite possibly this is the new impreza. One good thing I have to say about it is I like that new downwardvent/scoop idea on the bonnet.. Not liking the Nissan Almera side profile much...
