  1. excellent piece of work there mate. good choice of music as well. It just helps to sum up all the hard work put in by so many this year to make the santa cruise the success it is now. Long may it continue.
  2. Looks like all concerned had a great day. Nice to see the weather behaving as well for a change. BTW is central a Blue Scooby only club or what?
  3. great the one photo you can see my car in and im getting more tinsel out the boot. typical good pics so far... must be more some where?
  4. I do take up two spaces at the far end of the car park (as I did on this occasion as well) as I to worrie about people hitting the car while I'm not there. What makes this one different is that i got hit by an Asda employee while I was in the car driving out the car park. I didn't hear back from them yesterday so I'm going to call them when I finish work and get an update on what there insurance is saying as I gave them the quote on Monday.
  5. Fixed them for you. Suspicious lot by the burgundy Mondeo.
  6. damn, my cousin got done for going through one by mistake on a roundabout 3 weeks after passing his test and got 3 points and a fine. you did get lucky. Can't say I've ever had a problem with the police. Except the ones in Dundee at the football grounds. They can be right kill joys.... But other than that most are just a regular bunch of nutters out of office time like the rest of us.
  7. I missed something quite important... A full valet come the nicer weather. After the interior display for santa cruise the car is now full of bits of tinsel, fake snow and glitter all over the place. I'll be picking that stuff out by the next one.
  8. Thanks for the support guys. Will hear back from the asda insurance company tomorrow. I touch goats back mate. On a more positive note I picked up the Ninja 2 exhaust from Stripe so no doubt I'll feel a bit better once I get that fitted.
  9. I called back and told them is was under warranty (9 months left on the one year) and that I would only have it repaired at a subaru garage. When I asked if they will willing to pay the fuel for me to drive the car to the glasgow and edinburgh dealer to get a quote that would be almost the same I was told that this quote would be fine. Gee that was nice of them.
  10. hmm.. think they got my bad side...(aka me in general) must remember to complain. Glad to see that the kid looks happy enough. wonder which of the dozens of pictures that one was.
  11. yeah I saw it happen mate. I was in the car at the time. Just of the phone with them and they say they need 3 quotes so there insurance can pick them cheepest one. I can see there reasoning but I need it done right not by some backstreet garage when they are paying. So I could use with some geography help here people. Where are the next 2 nearest subaru garages to me when I live in Kilmarnock so I can get quotes done and can they quote me without me having to drive there as the fuel is going to cost me a fortune as it this rate.
  12. Stripe mate relax. If you can't get it done for a week or two I'm not to worried. (Preferably before christmas mind you) Got a bigger problem right now with some damaged bodywork that I'm dealing with. Just let me know when you have it ready and I'll come and get it. Out of curiosity what kind of backbox you going for now?
  13. Ok so you've all heard of the usual door dings from carparks and that we all prepare for them every time we cant get two spaces for the car however I wasn't expecting this to happen when I was driving out the carpark.. One of the adsa trolly guys was pushing about 15 of them back to the front of the store from the car park. I was driving back out as I had only gone there for some money and the other scoobies were waiting on me at the restraunt after the Santa Cruise yesterday. He didn't stop the trollies on time and I couldn't swerve into the other lane due to oncoming traffic. The end result is a scratch and dents from the front wing to the rear damaging both doors as well. Not a hapy chappy. Needless to say I went in and spoke to a manager (the fact there was one there on a Sunday was impressive) and I'm expecting a call back to day from the Store manager or the Customer Service manager to let me know what is going to happen next regarding their insurance paying or the damage. Got the quote from S&S this morning. Total repair including parts and labour is going to be £700 so the asda had better cover it. Sorry rant over but what a crapy way to end such a good way Will let you know what they say later on.
  14. Ninja 2 back box to replace the stock one (present from my mum) Some much btter condition tyres that Ally-B had as mine are down to next to nothing left. New wheel bearing for front left and possibly 2 new doors on the passenger side after some muppet in a supermarket managed to hit me with the trollies he was pushing as I was driving past.
  15. just because i was half way to endinburgh when i realsised i had missed the turn off is beside the point!! I still made it back to the m80 on time though. pity i got there after the judging but a fun day was had by all. the faces of some of the kids in the wards were brilliant (as were some of the parents). same again next year.
  16. I just finshed decorating my car about 10 minutes ago. looks good but i think I should have left the external stuff off untill i got there as I will probably get pulled over on the M77. oh well it is for charity.
  17. woho i won something. should look good on the wall in the new house come january. enjoy the whisky bing, one of my favs. well done everyone.
  18. yeah, every other car stops for rudolphs nose
  19. Ally you said at the glasgow meet that they Yorkhill were looking for possiby some more ward stuff like ps2's and xbox360's. If we can get a Nintendo Wii that would be good but what about some handheld consols like the psp and nintendo ds. These would allow those to sick to get out of bed to play some games (even against one another due to the wireless functionality if they are allowed to use it) Thoughts?
  20. True (being 22 I can agree with that) but I'm trying not to put the man off already.
  21. hats off to the man who can afford to insure that at 17. thats dedication. welcome mate.
  22. Felt this needed a bump so that people could see the prize list again. Common people get buying those tickets. Its all for a good cause and there is some damn nice prizes there.
  23. So when do we actually decorate the cars? I get a funny feeling my car would get pulled over if covered in tinsel making the journey up the M77.
