  1. No that was just me being lost, didn't realise I needed to be in left lane and instead of cutting in front of other scoobies I just did a once round the roundabout and took the correct exit. No fun in racing a corsa anyway []
  2. nice vid, going to be some collection we all have after this run.
  3. plenty suicidal sheep all round then... Notice - "no sheep were hurt in the making of this run."
  4. Yeah thats kind of a key item... have fun hunting quotes. As for me I've been reliably informed that my car is to quiet after todays run so I think the stock backbox is going to have to go. Now where did I lock up that credit card....... [:S]
  5. If you were in the spirited group then that would have been me. So a fun day was had all round... hell of a 'spirited' way to break in a car I've only owned 9 days. Highlight for me.... the initial up and down hills just after we left. Getting all 4 wheels off the ground at once at one of those small bridges (entirly unintentional and crapped myself at the time but now I look back and think of it as fun) Managing to keep the back of the car under controll (ish, ok... ish) as it clearly was getting away from me at some points, especially the new wet tarmac (or skid pan) Oh yeah and of course meeting you all was also a blast. Thanks to all who organised it and I can't wait for the next one. Although I think my car will be greatful of the breather. Ian. (the guy with the bad hair, worse beard and a <geek> tee-shirt)
  6. yeah what that pic dosn't show though is the tractor is in fact on top of a big rig's trailler so it was a rather masterful photo point. Still makes squirrel a rather apt name though.
  7. wonder how the porche felt with the elise clinging to its bumper...
  8. Amazing how such a small piece can change the look. Any pics showing the whole car with it fitted. Interested to see how the splitter fits with the whole look.
  9. I don't see whats funny... I used those products on a regualr basis when I drove a micra... lol.[]
  10. It's one of those ones that makes you wonder... if it is so good why arn't car's coming with them as standard. If anyone knows of one already on a scooby I to would like some more info. Plus its another thing to look good under the bonnet.
  11. wow, such a welcoming bunch you lot. anyways here are a few more pics of what has already become the giant void into which my pay flows. From the front.. And from the back.. Now if only I knew how to make the engine bay look half as clean and nice looking I'd be a happy man.
  12. Car has already had a few bits done before I got it so nothing big planned. Gonna get shot of the tape player though and get a decent cd player. Thats definatly going to happen. I think after that it will be some driving courses to improve my skill rather than the cars.
  13. lol... yeah I have already discovered that this is going to be a lot more expensive than my computer habbit.... Picture out the window. Yeah I really need to clean the car. I know.
  14. Pretty much as the title goes just saying hi. Just bought my first Subaru Impreza Classic Turbo last Friday (I think its an MY00 after reading around) and I'm having a great time in it. Silver with a few mods already. Clear indicators and sidelights, Dump Valve, Debadged and an S.E.C.S data unit which is a great piece of kit. I'm from kilmarnock so if you see someone nervous behind the wheel of a silver classic around there its probably me still getting used to it (previous car was a 1 litre micra) The reason I chose such a jump... I had a shot in a friends WRX STi Type UK and yeah I loved every second of it. The curious bit about my car is it already has SIDC window stickers and Tax Disc holder so no doubt one of you had it before me. Anyways I'll be around. Got a lot of reading to do about these cars.
