I`m glad I`m not the only one feeling this way, I totally agree with there is a time and place for a wee blast but 30 zones are a big no no. You would expect this from the Corsa/Saxo crew but not Scooby owners. I know the Classics are starting to fall into some undesirable hands but there are still plenty of sensible/enthusiast owners. I just can`t get over why a fellow Scooby owner would want to overtake me while I was doing 30 in a 30 zone! it beggars belief!!! Rant over - again!

We have all read the threads on boy racers wanting to race Scoobies, but over the last 10 days or so I have been overtook by no less than 3 Imprezas - 2 of them in 30 zones!!!!!!!!! Now to me I don`t see the point in this. Are they trying to prove they have a faster car than me? If so I don`t really care, what I do care about is the damage limitation this marque is experiencing right now. Just last night I was over took by Bugeyed Wagon (in a 30!) going to the shops then hounded by a Seat Leon GTI/Turbo (whatever you call them) coming back from the shops! I`m I showing my age or am I rightly concerned? Rant over.

Look for the Grill Badges guys, they are smaller and more discreet so you can but them say under your indicators on the wings.

Sounds like components you`ve got. Depending on the width/depth of the speakers you may need spacers/adaptors also mate. Some people make them from MDF, I ordered mine from the States so there is no need to drill holes and the magnet clears the window when its down. DynaMat is also a good idea for the bass/vibrations.

As long as the tread patterns are the same you will be fine.

John, are the fronts components? Did you get spacers/adaptors with the speakers?

Like Paul said John, if you got the Autoleads ISO adaptor the radio stations should be fine as I have the rear window aerial as you do, just make sure the aerial jack is nice and tight as I had to get a wee adaptor for my Alpine HU.

Ok so there is a defence budget and where does money come from that, taxes maybe? 1st Gulf war was to stop the invasion of Kuwait, the 2nd Gulf war (still going on) was to stop a tyrant who allegedly had weapons of mass destruction. So after finding no weapons of mass destruction, but finding the tyrant himself and bringing him to trial, where is the peace in Iraq today? What we have now is another tyrant, controlling the country. So after spending £millions and hundreds of lives lost you tell me what the point was. Oh and don`t think for one minute the uprising and reprisals will stop. Now getting back to the original subject, I`m no politician but I believe we are being ripped off with taxes in this country and money is getting spent on the wrong things. I could go on but this is a car forum after all. Peace.

Its the Government in this country thats to blame for the steep fuel prices, and I doubt they are going to change. If they didn`t spend millions on pointless wars then maybe they would be more money available and less tax on everything.
