I would tend to agree with St3ph3n on the 'bullying', for instance at traffic calming (when the road turns to single file) and there is no priority given the big 4x4s always think they have the right away over the smaller cars. Maybe a lot of it is down to being courteous but if you`re are late on the school run/work are you going to let a wee car get in your way? On the other side my Mrs wants a X5/Q7 as she thinks she would gain more respect on the road (nothing to do with the marque, only based on the size), I disagree. I feel safer in my car more so for the power I have rather than the size. I think more people could do with being a lot more courteous and I would be up for some sort of driving test resit every 10 years or so.

This subject has been done to death on ScoobyNet and the outcome is always 'don`t bother'. I had a Forge one on my P1 and thought it was 'cool' at the time of having it, but it was also jerky when accelerating. Mike Wood from Prodrive said its a big no no as your standard one is fine unless your going for big BHP.

Bad luck mate. I have the original (expensive) Subaru STI Splitter and have had no probs what so ever after being on the car for 2 years. Went for that particular one after hearing too many horror stories of the cheaper ones breaking.

If its comes with a power shower and soft close toilet seat I`ll buy one.

Hope Petter hangs in there and fingers crossed some of the pesky Fords will drop out.

Obviously your Spec D is a 2.5 but my 2.0 PPP STI is around 21 MPG under everyday driving if that helps mate.
