  1. What H&S parts do you have, as the de resonated centre section would make a difference to the noise.
  2. Very nice for a track car mate.
  3. Never mate you but saw the car plenty of times at KH, good luck with the house hunting mate.
  4. Too right if I thought I was being followed I`d go anywhere BUT home until I was convinced. Paranoia or precaution - you decide.

  9. Nice one mate. I want pops and bangs.
  10. Well I was one of them who slated the new shape at the start Peter, but after seeing proper pics of the STI and seeing the WRX in the metal my mind is changing and I`m sure the STI is going to be special. The STI is reported to have 330 bhp and with the PPP in a lighter car than the last model is going to be fun!
  11. Popped into Ian Grieve today for a few SWRT merchandise as I`m off to Ireland for the WRC. On entering the dealership I noticed a Satin White Pearl and WR Blue WRX in the car park. Now when you see this car in the metal its not that bad looking, honestly, OK the rear lights I`m not convinced by and it could do with 18s rather than the standard 17s. Side on it does look like a Focus but there is a purposeful stance to the body and the scoop on the front looks quite menacing. After a chat to Gavin about the spec of the new STI he offered me a go in the WRX. The view from the drivers seat is different with the bonnet seeming quite long with a slight bulge where the scoop sits at the front. The instruments are clear and well laid out, with a digital read out for the clock, temp, etc in the centre of the dash, although the plastics have not been improved on and look like they would scratch easily. The car has a firm yet comfortable ride and handled very well round the twisty back roads, the steering felt accurate but never had a chance to push it in earnest. With the 2.5 engine it pulls well, even in 4th at around 3200 rpm, and it stops as good as it goes. I`ve always preferred the STIs to the WRXs so I can`t wait until March for the STI to arrive. With the better interior, wider arches and bigger wheels I`m sure once you get your head round its a hatchback and you see it in the metal you will change your mind. With the PPP fitted on the STI it is going to be a cracker of a car, I`m sure of it.
