  1. The world loses another nutter! RIP!
  2. well if you think about it like this, if you are serious about having the change... visually, there is 2 changes that you can make to your car, that you will see every minute that you drive you car, your steering wheel and your dials... you might not think that its not worth the hassle, but if you get it right, then it could be the best mod you ever make to the car, but then if it all goes wrong, then you might find that it could end up being the worst... You have to be sure that its what you want like... I know when I changed the Steering wheel in the shed, that was the best mod I could have made, as it made me happy all the time!!!
  3. the Digital display you can change too, its somthgin to do with the film on the display... My bro did it with one of his cars... looks really nice. Really not easy to do iirc...
  4. Iain to get the full story mate, theres a thread about it in here, under "anyone here from yoker - dodgy dealings" all will be explained... I dont know if I am shocked about it like, I think that it was going to be on autotrader anyways, but the guy was going to have had his money back off Dez, AND the money from the sale of the car... Its just that this time, he is not getting the extra money...
  5. Nice one Arthur! never saw that one comming like, was wondering when someone was going to pick it up...
  6. Ooh! Gutted - much? Some real nice pics mate! nice to see you online! not really seen you about much of late...
  7. Will have them on the night of the Crimbo meal at Peter's if your ok to take them then? or I could possibly drop off en-route....
  8. I have no idea why... but I dont seem to have seen this before.... Odd.... Ah well I just saw it now... very touching....
  9. nice one, I'll get in touch nearer the time mate! Cheers!
  10. Yeah John, but its not the same when he answers the phone to you: "Oh no not you again!!!" Worth it in the end though mate!
  11. poping out of a weekend would probably be better, things like this are always better if you are in no rush or are thinking about getting home from work! I'll likley be home in just over a week, (5th) so let me know whens good for you... Cheers John!
  12. Or perhaps use photoshop, elements, lightroom, paintshop pro, paint, I'm sure even windows might do it...
  13. So far, Ive heard people saying great things about these settings, but also the Prodrive settings, and also the Group N settings.... so how do you choose then?
  14. Well Ive been using that for years, and think a lot of people have been on here also... I used to find the weekly e-mail very handy...
  15. You see why 90% of my stuff is done at night, I may not be that rounded (well apart from my belly! ) a photographer, but the night stuff is cool! I really like this one...
  16. nice one, Yeah should have clocked the URL (Do'h!) ah well... I think thats the thing I'm buying next, is a manfrotto tripod, but again not one that bulky... Was looking at their non geared tripods, perhaps one of those newer ones, (150X I think it was that I was looking at...) But Ive been to bed since.... either way, I need a new one, most of my photography tends to be at night, so really its one of the most important bits of kit for me... Yeah, I'm rambling now....
  17. ta! the mount is a b-hague suction mount, well actually, its a manfrotto suction mount - you'll find all the parts on manfrotto's website, with b-hague's sticker on it... aparently they designed it... (Yeah, really- the fact that its got manfrotto written all over it really makes me belive that... ) Link to it here: http://www.b-hague.co.uk/camera_suction_pa...cuum_mounts.htm pretty decent quality like, I dont have a camcorder yet, but am toying with buying one, I suppose theres a few things I need to do/buy first like... the mounts about £70, although I bought this for £60 from cal...
  18. that would be fantastic John, give me a good idea of the differences between them all.... And Neil, WOW! that looks like a meaty setup mate!!!! and quite a bulky tripod also... must be a bit of a pain lugging that about is it?
  19. Hahahahahahahahah.... Yeah, were always watching..... Some Great pics here guys, and yeah, Scott, I agree with Neil, those are some good shots, but that portrait was awsome! I just wished that I was able to get down for this, but alas, work strikes again, I wouldn't care But I've been in Aberdeen harbour for the last week too!!! Next one perhaps... Although I think that a shiney new lens thats a bit more suited to this kind of photography is in order... which brings me to a question... Seeing as I am only using a canon 18-55mm lens (Camera is a 350D), (And might have a 50mm lens soon too....) and Need to buy a new one... I know a few of your are using Canon... Whats your weapon of choice? (for this kind of photography)
  20. Ive got a very nice camera mount for in-car stuff Mate, bought it off Cal last year, very handy, although ive not tried anything at night with it yet except this... Oh how do you make an image clickable in BB code...? I thought I knew how to do it, but I see I am failing miserably...
  21. Thats a cracking shot Neil!! Ive been trying to get some good light trail shots for a while (well been messing about with it a few times...), they are not easy to get, location is definitly the main things, I think, that you need to get nailed... I think thats where Ive gone wrong a few times in the past...
  22. Nah, not heard anything else... no one seems to know who it was...
