  1. Yeah, I'm feeling pretty emotional right now... probably because its waaaay past feeding time...
  2. Well flattery will get you everywhere eh Wayne!!!!!!
  3. Well thats me just in the door, cracking weekend, thanks to all involved, and also to Lewis and Brian for the craic over the Lecht on the way home! Banter! Just need me dinner now! oh, and to look at my pics!
  4. Whos about? I'm leaving shortly, Staying at the Inverness Thistle...
  5. Look for your poice force, you'll probably find that there should be a link to it... if they have scamera vans then they should have a site... but every force in scotland has one... even fife... Fife SCamera Partnership Edit: oh, and that doesn't tell you WHEN they are going to be there, it just tells you where the locations are... This link however... http://www.nescamp.co.uk/mobile-camera-locations-wc-270409 Way to find it, is at the bottom of the page, theres an RSS link, for the locations, click that, and then that'll take you to the feed, then just click the top one...
  6. Ta! I didin't even think that was the best of the MkII escorts! he came right round and nose in the ditch, not much more than that, he just reversed out and went on his way... Cheers Jon, Loving the toy, but still learning with it, more so than the 350, much bigger learning curve... just need to take more time out with it than I am at the moment...
  7. Pics. From SS6 Duris 2, Jucntion 4. Only took some of the high power cars, but here's the best of the bunch... didn't get many, about 36-ish in total... (from about 300 taken) all pretty half hearted to be honest, but then I wasn't there for to photograph things, and I couldn't really move from where I was... (Marshal - so I wasn't much flexible as to where I was standing) Click on the image for the bigger version. Oops... more to come on this one later... There are other shots on there too, not many more, but I really cant be bothered posting them all...
  8. Aye, I dont think that you'd be wrong there Stephen, good that your getting it all fixed, but the bill is never welcome...
  9. Nothing so far, the police were supposed to come round the other day for a DNA sample, but failed miserably, messed my day up, and I'm still waiting. but guessing that they have something to compare it too... for what is worth... Oh, and the wheels are Kinda copper coloured... not silver...
  10. I'll take a look at it tomorrow...
  11. I always thought that it was standard to change the pads when you change the Discs anyway...
  12. Ah no, bad news Andy! better luck next time!
  13. personally, if I had the choice between any Porker, an s2000, or a Z4, I'd take the porker any day of the week, and twice on a Sunday. the Z4 I like the look of, but I seem to remember reviews saying that they have really crap handling...? And the s2000.... No. just, no... I think that they are just hideous... Like has been said, a porsche, is a porsche, ok, personal, I'm not a huge fan of the boxters, but I'd never turn one down...
  14. Yeah Geo will be one of the best folk to speak to, AWD also, where I got my stuff from. I have the Solid alloy Droplinks on my car, and I cant fault them, but it probably wouldn't hurt to go for a rear Anti-roll bar too, although, its not essential... but yeah, drop links all round, and 22mm Anti roll bar on the back, you don't need to change the front. now that's what was recommended for me by Grant at AWD who have tested both set ups. I know that there's others that will disagree with that mind, there are some that will say 24mm on the back and 22mm on the front. But then some folk also say that, that's too harsh a set up for road use. but like said, depends on the goals, if your also going to be using it on the road day-to-day, then focusing it for the track might be too much?
  15. Looks pretty clear to me from that image that you posted... the 2 at the top are 2 pots, because they never did 4 pots till 98/99. how about the one that says "4 pots" on it... I thought that was a dead give away... as was the Label "STI" on the other one, because Brembos were only fitted to STIs... Either way, as long as you can identify that you have the 4-pot callipers, it wont matter the age, thats the pads you want...
  16. Nicely done on the banzi win last weekend, I'd heard from Simmie about the Skyline... but you won, no matter how it happened! (From what I also heard, it shouldn't have been in the final, but that's another story) Good luck at Oulton!
  17. Yeha the article was good, but then i think that it was one of the few good things in this issue... Cant say that I was that impressed with this issue in the slightest... it just wasn't up to the usual quality I felt... Although I know that its only Paul's second issue, but his first one was far better... one of the things that I was dissapointed about, was that opening the magazine, contents fine, chair/editor notes fine, Things start going downhill from there... Articals as follows... Santa pod Demon Tweeks Santa pod Santa Pod small SUBARU ARTICLE Santa Pod Santa pod SUBARU ARTICLE Now, is it just me, or have we just published Santa Pod's brochure for them...? All the Subaru articles that are in there, yeah, they are good, but I'm sure that Paul needs more of them... Oh, and the one other thing that I was less than impressed about, was the advert that cut the bottom off the only Scottish article in the magazine, I noted that NONE of the other articles featured advertisements like that...
  18. Odd because late 2001 onwards I think were supposed to be fitted with the screened unit...
  19. You driving a classic? or very early Newage? the code does work as long as you get it right, I know because I've been in the same place, tried to put the code in too quick and messed it up, so it froze me out for the 30 mins... you need to do it slow and steady... The alternative is to get an upgraded "sheilded" unit from the dealers, its only £70, and I think that's fitted... (they need to fit it to maintain the Cat1 alarm IIRC) The sheild by the way, its not actually sheilded, its just on a different frequency... if its the older unit you have, then you just have to be careful of parking near police stations... speshully the bigger ones...
  20. bad Script Chris! took long enough to get this gearbox sorted and to have to do it again!
  21. Gutted, thats real bad luck in teh extreme mate! no way anyone should have to go through either event, but then to go though both... Your almost as unlucky as Jimser!!!
  22. Great shots Neil, I really do agree that its great for the paparazzi, and no end of the action by the looks of things, but Chirst, the driving, Looks more like scrapyard/stock car racing! I'm surprised that some of those cars were allowed on the track in the first place!!!! I have to say that Golf is some awesome shots too, that was the first thing that I thought too, that the tyre was shedding...
  23. Anything works for me... Looking like a slim chance but I might just make it...
  24. nice one! glad to see that the Bomber has gone to a good home!
