or if its a classic (I dont know what your driving) You can reset the ECU by following the link: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Knowledge/ECUReset but then if its in Limp mode, then you might have a fault code, if thats the case (Again for Classics) then check your codes: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Kno...ngECUCodes#toc3 probably wouldn't hurt to check the fault codes first, at least you know that if it happens again you know what to look for... or it could just be the fuel... I always take octane booster when I know that I'm not going to get the good stuff...

Oh and yeah, I was pretty upset about that too....

Wilky, you know what, it was that area, could very easily have been the same crowd... I've just got off the phone to the bobbies the now, and they seem a bit more interested about the helmet... but "its probably a long shot"... I'm going to drop it off and see if anything comes of it...

Think its local gypsies... but how do you prove it...

My bike is stored in a Lock up in town, over the back from my friends house... and this lockup, was broken into again last month, my mate said he tried to text me, but I never replied, but I never got the message, Till the weekend, when I met him out... He didn't know whether they were there at the time, but, my spare wheels, were in the garage, but are not now... the thieving scum have gone and nicked them... Same set of 17" WRX wheels that I have fitted now... to say that I'm a wee bit angry... odd thing happened though, it got broken into again... this time, a bike helmet appeared... very odd... not mine, Not my mates... We don't know WHO it belongs too... I'm going to hand it into the police, I really don't know why some crazy aprt of me thinks that they might be able use it to investigate... I don't expect that they will even bother to look at it, but I'm going to do it anyway... Gah! Oh, and because I forgot to ask, if anyone sees a set of wheels up for sale, from this area, that seems a bit dodgy... We think that its gypsies, or scrappies, either way, they are pretty common wheels so I don't hold out much hope of their return... The Bike was not stolen

Hmmm not overly keen personally, I'm sure I'd need to see it in the flesh to be able to make my mind up about it... I do kinda like the wider arches, but the bumper and lights really are not for me... (sorry) Anyways, dont really matter, as long as your happy, dont matter a jot what I think about it...

Some of you might have seen this already, but... Just saw this on another forum, but eve got round to reading it till today, and Glad I did, I've just signed it, and I hope that everyone else does too! http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/saveCroft/ Croft Motor Racing Circuit is under threat of closure because a resident who recently bought a house near the track has been successful in a court case. He moved in next to a race track built in 1947, then takes them to court for damages because of the noise. He bought a house near a race track, what did he expect for f**cks sake. This could open the door for track closures all over the country, unless they can pay the compo, and survive under the conditions that are imposed. Please sign the petition to help save one of the venues for the British Super Bike Championship . I though that was an April fool there for a second! If you going via Aberdeen also, there might be 99 at tesco at huntly, but I've not been through there for a very long time, so someone might be able to advise better...

Christ! Ive never been keen on their carpark, but I never realised that it was as bad as that! You'd think that their reputation and the kind of clients that they bring, the carpark would at least be maintained to a certain standard, and by the looks of things they have not maintained the car park at all, which wouldn't surprise me... I'd go after them, they have to have public liability insurance that covers such a thing, and Like someone said, all it takes is for someone to trip over that kerb and they have a lawsuit on their hands... Hope you get somewhere with them Dave!

Well thats it, they have stopped searching for the night by the sounds of it... I'm dreading my work ringing in the next couple of days... it probably wont, but you never know, I've already done this kid of job once before...

Ha! Thats what I said when I took my pics of it!!! Some good ones though!

Whilst I agreee wholeheartedly that special editions should stay unmolested, can you really call the GB270 a special edition? to be honest, it was probably the ****test special edition there was... Personaly I think that they only took them out as a special edition to clear the stock out... although I did love the wagons, they were completely different to the saloons... that just made no sense...

Ha! Like that! is that your work Jimmy? its an Impressive bit of machinery that mate! (The Diggers pretty good too! )

Nah, nothing daunting about, as long as you are happy its all that matters at the end of the day, thing is were not as critical as you think mate, but opinions were asked for... and this was from someone who wants to make a living at photography? End of the day, just trying to help every one take the pics that they want to take... everyone is different, and can do different things... we all appreicate pics for what they are, so I really woudn't worry about it, and get YOUR pics up!!!! I think thats where it sounded like you that posted them...

sorry mate, must just be a bad crowd... Don't get me wrong, I'm no genius, and I post most of my pics (good and not quite right, but not terrible) and I've already said that the car looks good, but there's a few things in all of the photography that I've seen (Looking at the Flickr Account also) that there's a lot that could improve about the shots... before the processing... to me, the composition is out in pretty much all of the shots, and to my eye, the processing adds in flaws... HDR is great if used sparingly, and can enhance the shot, but as we've said, its too much here... For example: Apart from the HDR, Im not going to keep going over that, the shot was slightly Squint, not a great deal, but I noticed it, but it was probably made more noticeable by the fact that the number place is also squint... you may have straightened to the background, but I'd have straightened to the car on this shot... only a minor thing, and I am being picky on this one as there's not a lot wrong with the composition... perhaps a slightly wider angle...? again, only a suggestion... This one was too dark when you shot it, the reason I know this is the HEAVY grain around the back of the car, which is what you get if you have to lighten too much this would have been sorted by taking some more longer exposure shots and combining them using the longer expsed back end with the less exposed other areas and the the less exposed sky. that's the first thing that I see in that shot, the second thing that I see is the back end has been clipped off the right hand side of the frame. I also think that you have brought out to much black in the sky, and finally theres a black shadow right down the right hand edge of the frame that probably makes the bumper being clipped off worse... but that could have been there in the original? This to me is the best of the 3 shots. less HDR done to it, a little brighter although theres still slight grain about the bottom of the car, you will probably only notice that at higher res, but still got the mean look that your after. But my beef with this one is definitely the composition is all over the place. what you have here is you've brought out the sky, and the colour in the cobbles which both look great, take the car away it would probably be a good shot... but the point about this shot is the car, and what you have done is enhanced the foreground and background to the detriment of the subject. if I'm using too many big words here, the sky and cobbles have overpowered the car, the first thing I should see is the car, the first thing I ACTUALLY see, is the foreground... now, this is the only one that I can do anything with as the others are already cropped right in, so Ive taken a few seconds to show you what I would have done with it. All I did, was straighten it, as it was really squint, and then cropped in, to show the car as the subject and to limit the distractions as at the end of the day people are paying for the car, and not the cobbles... Sorry if you feel its too critical, but if you take it as constructive criticism which is how were dealing it, giving points on how to improve the shots, then there's no issue... were all improving and theres not one day that I don't find faults in my own photography... but I TRY, sometimes unsuccessfully to learn from my own mistakes and the advice of others... Its all a learning curve...
