hey mate, welcome back! I was confused there for a minute, as I'd actually forgotten that JC sold the Goblin!!!! Motors looking good mate!

Yeah I have to say that the spam I wasn't majorly happy about Kev, but there's a new manager, who just emailed me, and he apologised for the spam, saying it was before his time, and it wont happen again, so I'm happy enough with that... just curious if anyone has any opinions, or has even actually used them, certainly I know nothing of them, or the bad stories, certainly if they are a different branch with different servicing staff, perhaps they are not the same place they they were before? But yeah, 45mins just for a price is verging on extreme....

Ok, so decided to start a new thread with the new pics, didn't have a great deal of time to do the biz on Saturday night, only tool about 5 shots, which is less than half of what i'd normally shoot, but got a few good ones, after I whittled away, I have 20 posted. Check the rest of the set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thefastone/se...57615001465944/ A few samples of what's there in the set... (Click on the image to take you to the set) Ok, so I know its not the best shots that ive done, but I'm reasonably happy with them given the time that I had, and I hope Grant is too... Enjoy! (I did!)

Yeah I meant to ask before, how are Autoecosse for their servicing? anyone used them yet? Just Curious...

Well took some pics last night, and all I can say is wow, its a really stuning car, I have to be honest, that when I first saw the pics the other night, I was unsure, then I looked again, and I was seeing things that I was liking more and more (even the alloys!)... But when I saw it in the flesh last night.... WOW... really stunning car... I think that I got some good pictures, but I dont know if I did the beast full justice, just didn't have the time to get those better pics... But I am pretty happy with what I did get, and I'll be able to take a better look at them when I get home tonight, and I'll hopefully have some up tomorrow night at the latest... I know that theres one shot that I regret not taking, and thats the shot out the flat window looking straight down onto it... the shape is stunning... its like a 22b on steriods... And I have only one other thing to say... Clyde Tunnel. BAWHAWHAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! But James, mate, I think that we all know you have some sort of Beef with Grant, but c'mon, is there any need to just have a pop at any chance you get? if you dont like the car, fine, but lets try and keep off the insults mate. because its not just grant that has to put up with it, we all do, theres a lot of us that are loving this car, and seeing comments like that, just dont help anyone...

I was under the impression that the Toyota/Subaru RWD collaberation was not to go ahead, and was permanently shelved...? I also agree, and I think that I said at the time that I was not really interested in a RWD car, and would prefer AWD...
-
Yeah, Carl is real fussy, but the quality of his work is crackin!
-
Oh you noticed then!!!! And yeah, Mark, real classy chick!

I dont like her, but dont get me wrong I wouldn't turn her away if she made the effort... and she asked nicely... I've really got very little standards, less so right now, being on a boat with no laydees to stare at has that effect on a man... I'm no male model, but Ive still got some standards...
-
oops, wrong thread.... Need my bed!
-
Wow! Cars looking awesome Rich! Like the new vent, keeping them black is a nice touch... cant wait till i see her again!!! Oh, and I take it you got the calender?

Nah I understand that Phil, you'll never please everyone, if you were to move it to somewhere more local to EVERYONE, then the people that have had it easy for so long will complain... You'll never win... But on balance, *that* weekend away to prodrive in august, I did a 1000 MILE round trip...

They Really Dont Have Anything Better To Do....
thefastone replied to nick-21's topic in Scottish Scoobies
No, like I say, Ive always had gennerally good experiences with the Bobbies, even when Ive been in the wrong, all except that one or 2 times, but all I'm saying, is that sometimes, some of them could do with being a bit more polite about their duties. And Sorry, reading back, perhaps I was making too much of a sweeping statement, but for some, its certainly true. Manners cost nothing, no matter who you are. Police included. it makes everyones day a bit easier to take that way. -

Yeah, I thought that about the No U-turn sign, its only illeagal if sign posted not to do it... fair play if it was... I also agree that Ive had some good experiences with the bobbies, where they have been helpfull, but then at least once, Ive had the whole 9 yards from them, when there was really no need... just being utter bawbags... well, actually 1 of 3 was, but the other 2 were decent enough... theres never a need for being unpleasant, no matter who else you have to seal with, I think that a lot of bobbies have to reaslise that not EVERYONE is scum, and that they are, at the end of the day, on public show, and therefore shoud be polite att all times unless the situation calls for it. Just my 2p... And, in reponse to Coulty's comment, I knda agree with you there about the amount of crime thats been stopped by checking cars, but then I think that really, you should have a justifyable reason to search it in the first place... I watch those programes on the TV all the time, and yeah, theres a lot of times that I think that the search is justified... but not always...
