I can only mirror what others have said, its been an amazing effort, by everyone involved, but especially by Grant and Imy, who were the ones to really make this happen. My hats are off to you, its a pretty massive acheivement! I had to miss it, as it would have been a bit on the dangerous side for me to drive - Falling asleep at the wheel is not an attractive look, and I was pining the whole day to get down... at the very least I had my chester t-shirt on just to be in the spirit of things, but I so wished I could have been there...

Nearest Dealer to us in Aberdeen if you dont want to use T&C would be Autoecosse in Broughty Ferry Near Dundee.... Haven't used them yet personally though...

I was going to, but I never landed in Aberdeen till Half 10, then by the time I got in after having to detour to the parents house, it was really late. I considered just driving down, but was waaaaay too tired, and I still am, but now, I wouldn't be ready before around 9... I might have made it to Glasgow, by about 11am, but there's no danger that I'd make it to Chester.

Thats also a good idea, if you want to go for the Whole matt black look, then getting your car Vynal wrapped its pretty much your best bet...

You know I would be very wary of buying bolts for your brakes off Fleabay, as I've heard more than a few times, people purchasing saftey critical items such as Spacers and bolts from Ebay, and the ensuing accidents often is surprising that people were not killed... Personally something like that, I'd just bite the bullet and Buy the right bolts in the first place... it could be cheaper in the long run...

It looks different, and I'm not against it, different is good, its what you like at the end of the day... I like the bonnet like it is, but then I also think that the whole car would look ok too... Only thing is, matt black is a piggin nightmare to keep... it'd be ruined in no time...

Ditto What Kenn said, I had a ball also, Never mind the kids, there was a few cars there that I wanted a go in!!!! But most of the kids were great, and ranged from the meek who looked petrified, but said that they were happy... to the Kids that were screaming happy, to the couple of kids I looked round to see that they were ok, and they were just sitting there STARING at me with big doghy eyes... that weirded me out a little... and finally, the big kids, who were not that far from being able to get a scoob themselves... There was one lad, was 17, and I think that he came out in my car 4 times! Said he was thinking about getting an RS2000, untill he came in my car, and has suddenly changed his mind!

I should be up for this John, assuming that it REALLY doesn't go wrong again, and I do make it back on Monday, and STAY away for the week, then I'll go. It'll make up for having to miss the Weekend.
