I received a call from Cardata (cardata.co.uk) who want to sell my car for me. They charge £99 and list it for 28 days. They claim to sell 85% of cars within the first 7 days. Anyway, any one ever heard of them and are they any good? Cheers

Thanks again guys. I have thought about changing the wheel-colour back again, but that's jsut more expense. I have a set of STi8 wheels with Eagle F1s that need powder coated, so I might do those in gold. All the other orange stuff, stripes etc have been removed. I have thought the wheels being orange wouldn't stop people buying it. I think I'll give Gumtree a bash! Cheers! EDIT: Now on Gumtree

Thanks gentlemen, most helpful. I have tried and hoped that the car would go to an enthusiast, but I have to call time on it and start taking in some dosh for it. After reading the above, seems like eBay is a high-risk strategy. Only tried selling on here and on Piston Heads with virtually no interest, so its time to ramp it up a bit.

Good luck mate. If your buyer has a pal who is looking for a Scooby, send him my way will you. I doubt I'll miss mine when it goes; lost interest about a year ago to be honest. I don't even drive it now, the wife uses it for going back and forth to work.

Dreadful thing to happen to anyone let alone to a car of this stature. Glad you and your passenger are OK though, that's the main thing, which of course, I'm sure you know. Hope the insurance pay out for you.

Make sure you have an old credit card to use as a squeagie (sp?) to push out air bubble and ensure good contact. After a few days, make pin-*****s in the air bubbles and use your credit card to flatten them down.
