  1. How about we create a flyer with the details of your problem. Get as many Scoobie owners from here to volunteer to distribute them on the dealers fore-court (or close to it). Once you have that set up, inform the dealer of your intention; let's see if there is a change of tune. We might also organise a one-hour drive-around in that, the same Scoobie drivers meet up and contunially drive round and round the dealer in protest. Perhaps a combination of both strategies. Again, inform the dealer of your intention.

when do your points expire? 3 years they last for... Keep meaning to get my expired points off my licence...

Points expire after three years but remain on your licence for a further year. However, insurance companies ask for details of accidents, claims and convictions in the last 5 years. How they get away with that, I have no idea. If the law discard them after 3, why should be punished by insurance companies for a further 2 years?

  6. John, top marques is track time organised by knockhill. open pit . usually get some really nice pieces of kit there, porsche, ferrari etc.

If poss you should pop up, hopefully it will be nice weather and a dry track.

Cheers Russ. How does it work? Do you jsut enter the pit and go and do laps as and when you please in the two-hour window? And if I just want to spectate, much will that cost (I checked the KH site and its £50 for track time)?

  7. Havent fitted mine yet, so whats the best way of doing it? I am a master at fekin up stickers!

Putting lettering on first sounds a bit dodgy, what if i dont put the base sticker on dead centre?

Col, that is the mistake I made. I got the actual visor on (eventually) but then trying to measure up the postion on the windscreen for the lettering becomes a nightmare. It's more difficult to fit and position the lettering while leaning over the bonnet than doing while it is laid falt on the floor. Fit the badges and lettering onto the visor, then using a fine mist sprayer, spray the windscreen with a water mixed with a little washing up liquid. Get another pair of hands and postion it as best you can. The water between the glass allows you to slide the visor around and/or peal it off if and refit if required. You just have to persevere with it until you get it right. Lastly, using a credit card, squeegie the water out from the visor making sure all little air bubbles are removed.

    Hope that helps!
