  1. welsho ......

did you go back up thru kilwinning /dalry / beith way ??

No. Went along the 77 till we got to the Fenwick turn-off. Used part of the old 77, then over the Fenwick moor Road (nowsingle-track), down through Eaglesham, then picked up the last stretch of the new 725.

  2. Guys

Do you have a couple of Robin graphics in white or day-glo to fit on the sides of my rear spoiler? I am not going to Alford so if you have them, let me know and will make arrangements to send the requested donation. Perhaps you can give them to Ally and I can get them off of him at the Glasgow meet. Assuming that is ok with him as I haven't asked yet!

    Thank you.

    John

  3. No, defo nothing on the road and it wasn't a feeling of going over anything; I'd have felt that in the steering. On the way down a hump and on getting to the bottom, the car thudded in a bone jarring way! And yeah, does pray on the mind!
  4. Right Guys, Not meaning to sound stoopid here, it does come natural...

    But,

    What are droplinks?

    Suspension bits which

reduce flexing and therefore effectively increase the rear roll bar stiffness; helps to reduce any natural understeer. Costing £150 from  Hypertech  in Bonnybridge. So he said, I just got his e-mail.

  5. Went out for a short run tonight and chose some single-track farm roads with lots of up and downy bits. Anyhoo, I wasn't holding back and at one point on the way down I heard an almighty thud; bone jarring! I am assuming that this was the suspension (standard WRX MY06) bottoming out. I pulled over at the end of the road and looked under the car. There are no visible signs of damage, not as much as scuff anywhere (not to say I didn't miss any). So, what's the thought, bottoming out not worries, or should I be more concerned? The car seemed to drive as normal when I set off again.

    Any opinions?
