  1. A loss of 7 grand in less than a year and a half!!! Screw that, I guess I'll be keeping it!
  2. Anyone got any idea what my car is worth in a trade in against a GB270. Saw this down at S and S the other day and it really caught my eye, lovley looking car. I have an MY06 22K on the clock FSH. Any thoughts?
  3. Nope. Thinking about trading it in for a GB270. Thanks for asking.
  4. Then why give to this cause at all?? If these are really reasons for not giving to them in view of Jerviswood, then they really ought to be reasons for not giving period. I think G.Mac hit the nail on the head with his post and would agree with him. I can also see why Billy is getting a bit upset about it. If the passing of Colin is a reason to give to his charities only becasue he died, then its not a reason at all. If Jervisweeod had greater merit on its own, then we ought to give to them every year. As it has been pointed out, we will have a run in Colin's memory later in the year or whenever and all proceeds from that can go to Jervisweeod or whom ever the McRae family decide upon. At the end of the day, people are blessed (including the giver) no matter who receives it. My 2p worth...
  5. I'll be glad I went to S and S then.
  6. reocrd it and lets hear it!
  7. Same here mate.
  8. How about we sell tickets for it and raise some cash for Santa Cruise?
  9. Nice car with lots of nice goodies! Hope this one doesn't get stolen! Enjoy it mate. J
  10. Neither does the WRX in the Hawkeye!
  11. So? You will be amazed at how accomodating most drivers are on track. Granted, there are one or two muppets, but on the whole, people are extremely understanding. I worried about my first time on track and still do even now, but after a session of 5 or 6 laps it awesome man, and great fun. Nov 24, next day, hopefully my ar will be working by then.
  12. Yeah, very good point.
  13. Agreed: c'mon wuss-boy. No point in having all those horses and just grooming them. you need to ride them, ALL of them!!!!
  14. Looks cool!!!
  15. You made the correct decision! I'd LOVE a set of coilovers!!!!! However, I'll just have toget my heap running right before I go spending any more cash. Good luck with it, see you on track
  16. I noticed that too. Obvioulsy those tree-hugging muppets that walk every where and use one square of lavvy roll to save the planet. A shower of useless muppets!
  17. Yes, that would have been me. I go home that way from time to time.
  18. Willie: Andy did say that testing the ECU with another would be a good idea, if for no reason other than to rule out a faulty ECU. He also mentioned that he can do this, and then that and then this, to make it work, but it was all over my wee hied! The bottom line was that it could be done, but like you suggest, getting an 06 ECU is not going to be easy. We have not been able to ascertain which cylinder is causing the trouble thus far, so that was perhaps someone else's post.
  19. Magic, can I get those off you today when I finsihe work Peter, around 4pm? Cheers mate!
  20. LOL - too old for that!
  21. Aye, was on my way to AndyF to get teh car checked over. I ended up going over teh bridge and head out Rutherglen way, traffic was a nighmare.
  22. Clydside Expressway, in the morning? Me? I don't go that way!
  23. Cheers ma man! Me tae!
  24. Thanks Colin I ran the car for about 20 miles with the light on, but I have done that before. Is it ok to idle and rev teh car withthe airbox and air intake left off, or do I need to put all that back together again after I take out each coil pack? I have no idea where I can get the bits. None of the sensors are triggering the CEL, is that normal? Cheers!
