Tell him Teins are better than Prodrive Stephen, he'll listen to you! LOL! When I did my car I started of with cosmetic stuff, like stickers, wheels and spoliers - silly I guess. But next came the handling mods which I'd recomend before any power upgrades. That way you can utilse the power that is already in the car, before looking for more. I started with Droplinks, then springs then the ALK. The springs were the greatest benefit, then the ALK; can't say I noticed too much difference with the droplinks, but I never really pushed the car with just these. As Cal said (or copied and pasted ) the 2.5 do run a tigher bore, so be careful with the power, trust me, I know! Good luck with it Mav!

Stephen. When I read your review of the book you were reading, it was enough to send me to sleep! Sorry, I'm not much of a reader, I don't have the concentration for it. That said, I read DCs autobiography cover to cover in a couple of days which is quite a feat for me. It's a decent read I suppose. I like fast cars, I like him and I like Scotland; therefore synergy of these factors were enough to overcome the fact that I hate reading. Anyone want it, they can have it.

Unless you are going to be doing some track work, Id forget coilovers. There is no need to changed the shocks either I don't think. All you really need to do is change the springs. This will lower the ride height and transform the look of the car making it more aggresive and it will handle a lot better too. Be mindful that if you do make hte changes yourself, you will need to have the alignment done. I have a set of springs for sale, but I dunno if they would fit your car or not. I have an MY06 WRX and the springs are Tein, less than a year old.

I wouldn't say that I want to go into the local offices for the roads department and brutally murder the person in charge of roads, becasue it is never right to kill anyone. However, I thnk it should be allowed for me to follow said individual home, find out where he lives and burn his house to the ground. I detest, no, utterly detest paying £400 per year for road tax when it clearly not being used on roads. My latest episode with the car was to ground it on a speed hump that is damaged causing the hump to tear away at the underbody of the car. As far as I can see the damage is minimal (see pics). Advice is two-fold: 1) Should I be worried about the damage you can see on the pics; 2) Is there any point in pursiing the incompetent uncaring prats who woork in the council for recompence? If so, does anyone know how I go about that?
