  1. PS2 available if you want, not been using it since we got the Wii. Could drop it of tomorrow if you want as your only 2 minutes from Castlemilk. PM me if your want to borrow it. 10-12 games: GT3, GT Concept, Need for Speed, Devil My Cry 1 &2 and lots more.
  2. Good advice for sellers is if no cash is handed over as a deposit the car is still for sale. If the rest of the cash doesn't appear you have some compensation. Bad news that your good faith is abused.[:@] Hope your buyer has some honour.
  3. Hi and welcome, have the prodrive backbox on my STI gives a good sound and isn't OTT. Other option is come to the meeting and listen to some cars and find a sound you like.
  4. I'm no expert only been playing a year so sounds like we'll be about the same.
  5. Just looked at Events and 26th May is the SIDC day at Knockhill 9 'til 1 so afternoon might be better.
  6. 27th is the RR day at Whitburn and the following weekend is the June Run, so how about the 26th May? How about a list with and your preferred date. STI Pretender - 26th May
  7. If they did Ferrodo DS2500's i'd consider it. (as long as I could watch and check they were doing it right).
  8. Has anyone seen this? Get your brakes changed at Kwikfit, and they will replace them free during the time you own the car. http://www.kwik-fit.com/free-brake-check.asp Subject to terms and conditions, does anyone know what these are? Also what make of pads?
  9. Up at Knockhill today, first time kids have been there and they loved it. RB320 on track looked lovely. Very impressed with the Extreme Motorsport Evo that car is seriously quick. Met Ron and Ethan looking at a Smart Coupe wondering what it was and looking for food(obviously didn't eat enough at Peter's). Scott, my kids were waving but had to explain that you were busy driving especially as we were at the hairpin.
  10. Sounds good Whitburn would be central for most. Any idea of date, getting one might be hard when there isn't an event, trackday, show or run.
  11. So when you getting the towbar for the generator to power the system?[] Grant our apprentice saw your car at one of the cruise and thought it was awesome. Think big screen was a little on the large side, looks better now.
  12. Was worth a try. [^o)] I was running 30 on F1's but now running 34 car feels a lot better.
  13. If your running Potenzas it may also be a factor as when I had them on, the car wasn't as sure footed in the damp/wet. Now on Goodyear F1's better for the Scottish weather although might get a second set of wheels with Potenzas for summer.
  14. Saturday : Ally-b Karps G.Mac TheWelsho (possible) Bryhp STI Pretender (Will join you at KT and the run back to Base) Sunday : G.Mac karps Bryhp Fai17 Imy st3ph3n - but only afternoon/evening probably, depends on time. LUSBOT & missus
  15. Glad to hear the DS2500's are worth the money, due a change and only had 8.5k out the originals.
  16. Can't make it during the day but why not stop of at KT on the way back for a bite to eat. Then anyone there could have we run to drop Ron back at base.
  17. Wait 'til the tree hugger see a load of Scoobies pull up and pollute their environment with fumes and noise.
  18. 19. I got £6.5k off a blobeye STI in September and the deals they are doing on Spec D's just now your lookin good for a cut price Hawkeye. Unless everyone wants one due to the new shape.
  20. Go for it and order a big spoiler.
  21. I'd be up for the 15th. Would like to see what my bog standard STI(no PPP) would do.
  22. If you held it at Shotts what about making it a Central Scotland event. I'm sure there would be some members in the west would like to play.
  23. Why not keep it simple Classic, Newage and Hatchback for the 2008 model.[]
  24. Looking at getting prodrives myself. You don't get fitting instructions as manufacturers expect them to be fitted by a competent mechanic. Bump stops the originals are re-used. Regarding settings there are plenty members who will have these. If you don't get a response post up Group N tarmac settings. This was posted a wee while ago by Gus. Ac!D: is the group N tarmac settings better than prodrive ones? YES! and fyi group N is the same as "fast road" setting. tbh Prodrive is a bit harsh a setting for our roads as with the camber on uk roads you will generally get a pull to the left from the steering with Prodrive settings. Group N or fast road settings are more in tune with the road conditions/formation we have in the UK.
